Less then one month before the grand opening for the big country rock stylings of George Strait.

At The Cowboys/Cotton Bowl/ Soccor/Concerts What ever else we can book before the cowboys actualy play a game here/Stadium. 41.gif

Still lots of work to be done, I doubt they will finish the reconstruction of the Colins Rd/ I-30 interchange before then.So right now colins rd is limited to one direction by the new place.

Which will start to be a problem when every one realizes the Rangers are good this year.42.gif

I really can not wait to see those tv screens finished...it is mind boggling how big they are going to be.

...And I would wait for the summer heat that always wilts the Rangers before passing any judgement on if they are good or not.  Millwood is pitching well, but that is to be expected, him being a contract year pitcher...and after that I really can't be excited about anyone else on our staff unless they move Derrek Holland into the rotation.  I do think they will win 85+ games this year though.

New Facility gets  an Official name. !

The one I have been calling it all along.

Cowboys Staduim. "untill someone payes us what we want" will be in small print.

I do not understand why corporations pony up the absurd money that they do to buy naming rights to stadiums. The only people that call the stadiums by the corporations name are the broadcasters. Everybody else calls the stadiums "__(team name)___ Stadium."

BTW, look at them Rangers cruising along in first place with seven wins in a row lol. Maybe I should eat my words, but I still suspect that come summer the heat will make them wilt a bit. Still a very promising team 4.gif

Yep, us Texans might be spoiled rotten by football success and superb basketball franchises but most of us don't know what baseball in October looks like.

Also, how about Joe D coming back to practice barking out orders in his neckbrace. This years Cowboys team certainly has a good vibe to it. All the head cases are gone 4.gif

Stanback is hurt again. Surgury today

Seems they lit the Vidio board today. Wonder if they showed that horrible 4th goal thing Michael Irvin is doing.

So much drama played out for 60 minutes and 10 minutes of actual content. 45.gif

Someone Bat the new staduim ! ! !

This should contain enough photos to do it

Oh dear many complaints abou the sound system.

And parking, mostly casue it was minimal $40.Closer in was much more.

Rumours are that parking for Cowboy games will be $50.

It is just too expensive for me. I will probably go to high school football games there, but the Cowboys and NFL football in general has just become to pricey for me...The owners need to get a handle on the salary cap in the next round of labor negotiations so that they may restore prices to reasonable levels that the average joe can enjoy instead of being regulated to a couch at home in front of a tv screen.

Hmm Lamar VS Arlington High the 2 localist teams. Most likely they will only have playoff games there.

Nothing wrong with being relagated to a couch to wacth football, many many more people do that then go to the games.

Think of all the money you save. I can buy 2 packs of hotdogs( of the good ones too) for what they charge for one.I can throw a heck of a cowboy watching party for what 1 ticket will cost.

you may be right, best bet to see the place will be during the High School playoffs.

    Price list from the concert

    Hamburger 11.00

    chilli Dog 7.50

    Draft beer 9.00

    Bottled beer 7.00

    Margarita 14.00

The have BBQ, Pulled pork and Grilled Chicken samwiches but dont rememer how much they said they were.

Wow thats an expensive stadium. Will it surpass Gillette as the most expensive in the NFL?

Parking at Gillette used to be around 30 bucks for one of the terrible spots with all the traffic. Im not sure what it is with Patriots Place up now, the parking is all different and i dont remember how much we paid, although, despite parking across the road, it was faster and better IMO then parking on the stadium lot.

Jury is still out on the new stadium. Im impressed by the size, but it doesn't quite look like how I thought it would.

tickets will be beyond expensive, as you must purchase a seat licence before you can buy tickets.

that not withstanding im sure there will be some single game tickets available since they are not selling as well as expected, even if they cant get what they want for them they will sell them for what ever they can get for them to fill the place up.

    Price list from the concert

    Hamburger 11.00

    chilli Dog 7.50

    Draft beer 9.00

    Bottled beer 7.00

    Margarita 14.00

I would think the game prices will be similar. Although i expect beer to be more expensive then that.

$50.00 for parking is what is expected. not a lot of optional parking that isnt already owned by the cowboys or rangers

and i cant see either giveing up the cash flow from that.

The only other option would be the Wal mart across the street but I do belive that you would be towed from thier if you parked there and went to the game. Wal mart and the cowboys are not on the best of terms, Mr jones wanted to buy the walmart property, but wal mart pretty much told him go go to heck. beside theres only a couple hundred spaces there anyway.

wow! Activity on this forum! lol.

Predictions: baseball is never predictable. The team that gets hot in the fall usually wins it all in my opinion. Pats and his Red Sox are a pretty safe bet, so for now I pick the Red Sox to be world series champs.

Football: Eagles, Chargers, Patriots, and Cowboys are all stacked. Being a diehard Cowboys fan, I pick them to win it all. 4.gif

Cowboys have too many problems. Its been really quiet in new england for the first time in years. That means another storm is coming.

    Pats over Giants. Revenge baby.
