Its awfully tempting [hint hint].

I love how it absolutely dwarfs that little tower in the horizon. wish there were more buildings nearby to make its massive size more impressive.

It always makes me more aware of my own mortality when famous people I idolized growing up pass away. No one can cheat death, but you would think McNair could have had more time on this earth to enjoy all that money he made. Hope he is in good standing with the man upstairs.

you would expect a story like this about Maurice Clarrett or Pac Man Jones not Mc Nair,he  was not concidered a thug at all.

Woman's gun ID'd in Steve McNair death.

looks like a Murder/Suicide. Extra marital affair gone very very wrong.

Police: McNair was murdered by girlfriend, who then killed herself.

We should partly blame McNair for this,Cheating on the wife never works out.

This eerily reminds me of  Phil Hartmans death.

Keith Davis is unemployed again. Those Raiders sure are disfunctional.

If the Raiders ever hope to find their former glory, they need to kill Al Davis and put that old fool out of his misery. Then, and only then, will the Raiders ever hope to regain their spot as one of the elite teams in the NFL. With Davis at the helm, this team is an absolute joke that isn't funny anymore.

Woah thats right. Training camps start in a week. Time flies by 3.gif.

The AFC East should be pretty boring this year if Tom Brady and the Pats return to machine form, but if they struggle a bit, it will be really interesting, every team but the jets has a chance to be great. T.O. In Buffalo should be entertaining regardless.

How long will it be before TO begins his shenanigans there? I give 6 games for him to show his true colors, something he always manages to do without fail. He may be a good player, but he really needs to have his Clock cleaned but good and his attitude adjusted. I'm not sure about NE this year. I'm thinking maybe they should have held onto Casel a tad longer just to make sure Brady is 100%. That could come back and bite them in rear if Brady goes down again.

The Rough Riders in Saskatchewan got themsleves a damm good QB in  Graham Harrell today.

The NFL Teams will be triping over themselves to get him back here when he lights up the CFL.

The local sport station did a comparison of  college QBs stats who made a nice carrer the the NFL,

the top 10 drafted QBs over the last ten years who made it all had one stat in common: compleation percentage.

The good one were all over 65% the bad ones all under 50%. Harrell had a career average of over 70%.

He will be back inthe NFL. 39.gif

I go into every season blind to the draft as not remembering names or what teams, makes the season that much more interesting for me. Also makes it more fun when you pick your winners/losers week to week and do pretty good. So I have no idea who your talking about, but it sounds rather intriguing.

    TDs : 45

    Career Stats

Well, I don't know, these NFL scouts are pretty good.

But hey, look at Warren Moon,

he has more passing yards in Pro football than anyone else (counting CFL)

He spent 5 great years in CFL with 5 straight championships ( Ibeleive.)

Texas Tech QB's are system QB's at their best. They have had a string of QB's now that have put up spectacular numbers like Harrell only to be horrible in the NFL. Harrell won't be any exception. Kliff Kingsbury ring any bells? [i think thats his name]. He was drafted by the Pats out of TT earlier this decade and expected to be at a minimum a great backup for Tom Brady, and after a year or two he was released and I don't think he is in football anymore.

I don't think that rule should ring true for Michael Crabtree...obviously his college numbers were a bit high because of the system but there isn't really such a thing as a system reciever [aside from Wes Welker lol]. Not to mention he is freakishly talented.

Any other high school football players out there? We've been doing workouts and "practices" since March which is absolutely absurd for massachusetts but I suppose its the norm in Texas/Ohio. My coach played at a big school in Ohio so i guess he is bringing that philosophy over here. It's worked amazingly, anytime you can take a bunch of massachusetts kids and turn them into a good football team by July you've worked a miracle 3.gif.

Right now i am a second string safety on varsity which is not bad at all for a sophmore, but i've got a ways to go on the reciever depth chart, i am like 2cd string JV I think?

So, how about Fantasy football, anyone in that?

I'm in ESPN and I got the 3rd pick!

Was thinking about getting Steve Slaton, but I learned that half the people in my league don't know him, so I'll take him in the second round...

Steve Slaton with the 3rd pick? You could probably get him in like the 5th or 6th round...

    yea?

nah, I like him, he plays in a weak defensive division and he had like 1700 yards total and 10 TD's last year.

what about you? who would you pick 1st?

Well, if I knew his knee was 100%, i would take brady, because his 2007 season single handidly carried my team.

However, I would take probably Michael Turner.
