Victor Valdes: thanks for stopping by Victor and thanks for that awesome comment! Hope you'll like this update!

danielcote: thanks man! I was really worried I'd get a bunch of critisms on my building skills from two years ago, but it seems like everyone likes Predeccia! 9.gif

Schulmanator: thanks Schulmanator! Hope you'll like this update!

Raysfan16: haha yup. Petrova is European, but when I was doing Predeccia like two years ago, it never occured to me what an Eastern European country looked like lols. I kinda never bothered to fix the city, I just took pictures of my old work. Anyways, thanks for stopping by!

Leech10: Thank you leech! Hope to see you back again!

jacqulina: thank you jacky! Hope you'll like this update! And my teaser of Azovo in my next update was inspired by your CJ!

colonel1: haha finally! Lols I was hoping someone would say that 1.gif But yea, I will most likely go back to Predeccia and replace duplicate buildings with BATs. And I'll definitely make an update on that eventually! Thanks for your suggestion!

TmiguelT: Thanks for stopping by and commenting Miguel! Hope to see you here again!

Evillions: Thanks for your suggestion evillions! 1.gif

ashleybynes: Hey, its still not too late to bid ashley! And salamat for dropping by! Hope to see you again!

Patricius Maximus: Thank you for commenting, but unfortunately, Petrova will not be hosting. I'm just here to spread the word. So far, there are seven countries bidding 4.gif (But Petrova might be bidding for the October games).

    Update.jpg

    San Prado, Petrova

Komosti guys! Yea, I know, you're mad at me for not being active in like the past month. I'm sorry. I had a lot of things going on, RL, school, finals, commitments to AIN, the ISC and other stuff. Good news is that I have no school, so I get more time to make updates! I have been kinda working on SC. Anyways, here's the plan: Today I show you San Prado, the next update is Azovo, then we stay in Ordona for quite sometime before finally stopping at Chihiro before July. And to start off fresh, I am going to post this update on a new page. Also, if in my update today, you will notice a new banner. I like changing and experimenting with banners, and I think I found one that I'll use for quite some time. So the update, its not really much, its just some typical Eastern European city. I kinda took realism boot camp during the time I was gone and realised(with the help of you guys) how un-European my cities were. Well, here goes the update, enjoy!

San Prado is a wealthy suburb just south of Chihiro. San Prado is part of the Capital Belt, which is the name of Metro Chihiro. The city is known for its arrogant and wealthy residents. So we've visited this city once, but now I'm going to show you a new part of the city: the Malakthi District.

    Malakthi2.jpg

This is the Malakthi Shopping District. It is a a newly constructed district consisting of over 100 shops ranging from Gamestop to Gucci to Express to Hot Topic to the Apple Store to Dolce and Gabbana. Since the city is home to some of the wealthiest in the country, so therefore the shopping district is home to well known fashion botiques. This is definitely the place to be for a true shopoholic.

    Malakthi.jpg

The Zambra Canal is an innovative canal made to provide a romantic environment for shoppers. It is innovative as there are approximately 5,000 tiny turbines at the canal bed providing clean energy for the entire city and parts of Chihiro. It is also innovative because every night, there is a fireworks show at the canal and the canal's color can be changed to different colors for an awesome effect.

    Malakthi3.jpg

    Malakthi4.jpg

Well, this is it. The Malakthi District in San Prado.

    Malakthi5.jpg

Now for the teaser. My next update will be the southern Petrovan city of Azovo. Stay tuned!

    Azovo.jpg

Well, this is it for today, hope you guys enjoyed visiting my country!

    The X Simlympiad

Congratulations Hinawa, Seto and daniel( a.k.a ilikehotdogsalot) for winning the rights to host the 2009 July Simlympics. Lol, I don't mind un-realisticness... Sometimes it's better to think outside the box, IMO, if you can make it look good.  "If" being the operative word.  Did someone say shop and Dolce & Gabanna in the same sentence?  9.gif  I am definitely going there, and the canal is very pretty.  But, for all your shopaholics, I see hardly any cars.  It looks calm...too calm... unless everybody is using mass transit.  Btw, your page 13 still isn't showing up (at least as I post this) not sure why...  Anyway, keep up the good work.

    Azovo, Petrova

Hey you guys! Welcome back for another exciting update! Today, we will be visiting the southern tip of Petrova to see the city of Azovo! The first time I introduced y'all to Azovo was during the Simlympic Torch Relay in December 2008, I think in page 1(wow, that's a long time ago haha). So today, we are going back to this enchanting medieval city.

With a population of less than 600, Azovo is one of the many cities and towns in Petrova that still is intact from the modern revolution the country went through a couple of years ago. This city is famous for its tiny seaport, yet one of the famous ones in Eastern Europe. Azovo is one of the major seaports in the country, bringing about 75% of the country's seafood supply. The other major seaport is located in Faytaren, a suburb of Metro Avenida Vista-Predeccia.

    Azovo1.jpg

This is the City Hall. It is easily mistaken for a church or cathedral due to its facade. Even though Azovo is considered a city, it runs like a tiny town or village. The town leader is Ivanka Hessy. The town's streets are usually crowded on a daily basis as there are no cars in the city.

    Azovo2.jpg

There are only three ways to reach Azovo: train, car or ship. It's not as easy reaching the city as you'd think. Train is probably the easiest. If you plan to visit by road, expect to drive through a narrow road for a three hours from the nearest town. If you go by ship, you would have to be from Europe or Asia, not from Petrova.

    Azovo3.jpg

This is the city square. A place where people hang out and do bargaining, put up stalls for their markets. The building you see surrounding the square is the local school catering to children all the way to adults. However, the wealthy living in Azovo choose to send their kids to private schools in Brytyavska (approximately 3.5 hours away).

    Azovo4.jpg

This is the Sachley House. It is home to the Sachley family who founded the city and is famous for their fishing business.

    Azovo5.jpg

The St. Agnes Cathedral is the only church in the city preaching the Catholic faith as 99% of the city is Roman Catholic. This is one of the landmarks of the city.

    Azovo6.jpg

And finally, the Port of Mandich is an important part of the city and the country. If brings in ships from all over the world. As tiny as it is, the port can handle up to five ships a day. There are talks of expanding the seaport to accomodate a larger ship traffic.

    Update: Downtown Chihiro

Hey y'all! I'm sure some of y'all are wondering why I stopped at only a couple when I was commenting. Usually I go about my routine, commenting on about ten or fifteen CJ's, but something came up. But I will try and do as many as I can in my next update. I'm back today with three new updates. For the first part of the update, we will be going back to the city where it all started, Chihiro. And we are visiting the downtown area. So let's get the show on the road!

Chihiro is the second biggest commmercial hub of the country, second to Avenida Vista. It is home to over 130 international and 200 national headquarters. With the recent Project Brytyavska project, Chihiro's downtown district has undergone tremendous renovations and beautification.

    Downtown1.jpg

This is the Naberezhnye Avenue. It runs through the entire downtown. The Naberezhnye Avenue is famous for its expanded lanes and its parisian layout. The pavements dividing the main part of Naberezhnye and the side parts of Naberezhnye are filled with markets and booths every day. Just like NYC, these pavements are home to newspaper stands, refreshment stands, entertainment venues and more.

    Downtown2.jpg

    Downtown3.jpg

    Downtown4.jpg

    Downtown5.jpg

Every Friday, the downtown is set ablaze with fireworks and sky shows to tell the people to "relax, its the weekend!" Pyroshows, as they are called, a unique because not one Friday show is the same. Each Friday, the fireworks are set to different music and at different times.

Update: Chipari Theme Park & Resort

    Chiparipre.jpg

Last week, I was on vacation in Orlando. I went to Disney World and thought "why not bring the magic here in Chihiro?" And that's what I'm going to do! Last week, the Petrova Department of Entertainment has released the map sites of two new theme park complexes to be built just outside the city. The first one is the Chipari Theme Park & Resort. Chipari is Petrova's very own theme park company. It has been a major hit in the city of Predeccia. Chipari is a water theme park where visitors get to experience thrill rides underwater, next to exotic animals, and get up close and personal with aquatic animals.

    Chiparichi.jpg

Well now, there's one in Chihiro! Located just south of the Chihiro International Airport, the enchanting aqua theme park will be in the country's capital! Here is the approved site of the theme park complex. The park will be west of the Capital Belt Expressway.

Update: Disneyland Chihiro Theme Park & Resort

    Disneychihiro.jpg

Of course, you can't have the magic if you dont have Disney, right? So, the Sim Walt Disney Company has decided to have their theme park built in Chihiro. Disneyland Chihiro will be similar to Tokyo Disneyland or Disneyland Paris or Disneyland Anaheim. Here is the approved site of Disneyland Chihiro. It is located northeast of the Capital Belt Expressway.
