no, but i have a CD that came with the laptop, but im reading the manual and it said it will be when i reformat my HD. and that is the last thing i wanna do. is there any other way i can get my laptop to work besides that?

A possible solution may be that your system battery is dead. It's uncommon, but it will happen to about 3 out of 20 people. Another possible cause is if you are fidgety (you know, you can't be sane unless you are doing something with your limbs) and you bounce your leg often, it would possibly bounce out the sticks of RAM if they are not secured correctly. It's possible that one stick of RAM came out this morning and the other one could have came out during facebooking. Otherwise, you may have broken your PSU. They're cheap but difficult to install though.

Ok, before I say anything else, yes...this is a very very sick april fools joke. But not for y'all, but for me. You see, I have underestimated the fact that my friend came over yesterday after school and the many times I left him alone in my room, I woulda never have guessed he took the batteries outta my laptop. How??? Well...when times like this happen, I tend to push the panic button quickly and forget my common sense. Last night, I couldnt believe all this was happening so I just slept and maybe it'll work in the morning. NOT lols. So I read what y'all said this morning, and I checked the batteries. Turns out my friend took them out while I was in the kitchen and hid them in my bathroom. And yea...I am that stupid to not plug my laptop into my charger lols. I am sooooooo gunna kill him in school jk xD. So...I am sorry for the heart attacks and angry riots I caused lols. But I am writing this news in the comfort of my laptop...now, can anyone help me get back at my friend????

Teaser: Petrova Simlympic Park, Ordona

Hey guys! I'm back working on Ordona and I will get a full update(hopefully a big one ) in the next couple of days. I have spring break this week, so I will be able to update between tomorrow and wednesday. I will reply to all the comments as well as comment on everyone's CJ's on my next full update. In the meantime, here is a teaser of the completed part of the Simlympic Park in Ordona.

Updates:
-The King has ordered that the number of venues be reduced from 8 to no more than 5 venues.
-The Arevalo Mall across from the park will be extended and be in one of the oasis stations.
-There will be two food courts with international restaurants. There will also be "oasis" stations which are plazas with jumbotrons, restrooms, restaurants, booths and security kiosks.
-There will also be a medals square within the park.
-A water park and resort is to be built inside the Simlympic Park to increase tourism and to raise funds for the park's construction.
-The Petrova Simlympic Park will be modeled after the London Olympic Park.
-Some of the venues are expected to be built exclusively from the Ministry of Construction & City Planning.(about 2-3 venues will be made from BAT)

Statistic Updates:
-The Petrova Simlympic Park is in its 5th phase. There are 17 phases total when completed in early June 2009.
-The total budget alloted by the Petrova Simylmpic Committee and the Ministry of Athletics is 100 billion Petrovars. The total amount of money used already is 76 billion Petrovars.
-30 million gallons of sand has been successfully transferred to the Petrova Simlympic Park. The PSC has spent a total of 20 billion on the sand. Most of the sand came from Mexico, Madagascar and the Philippines.

Ordona, Petrova

Komosti! Thanks for stopping by today as I have a grand update for y'all. Sorry for not replying or commenting on CJ's as often, but on the bright side I have spring break this week, so I will be working on Petrova. I have three updates for you guys today(well two, and one application xD)

Ordona is a new and developing city in the Capital Belt. The Capital Belt is another name for Metro Chihiro. Located south of Chihiro, Ordona is home to over 4,000 residents. It is often compared to the San Prado, a wealthy suburb west of Ordona. Although there are 1,300 wealthy residents in the Ordona, the city is famous for its amenities. It is home to Gersbach District which is the Ambassador's Village, Arevalo Mall which is a modern mall catering to international shoppers, Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park Resort located in the Petrova Simlympic Park and the iconic Parc d'importansia where famous leaders of the ages are imortalized in the maze of statues.

 

This is the Arevalo Residential District. It is named after the co-founder of the city, Dayana Arevalo. The other co-founder is Rhian Ordon-Gersbach. The Arevalo Residential District is home to some of the wealthiest citizens of Petrova as well as some international millionaires have homes here.

 

This is the residential areas of Ordona.  Unlike most Petrovan residential places, Ordona's was inspired by the west and was planned with the American suburban layout in mind.

Ordon Blvd is the main road to the city. As this city will become an international city, the roads were planned in a modern manner. The two roads on the side will be used for the main Ordon road, whereas the middle highway will be used as the expressway.

 

This is the Parc d'importansia where famous leaders around the world are honored in a maze of statues.

This is the place that started it all. The Petrova Simlympic Park made Ordona the celebrity city of Petrova. It's innovative beach environment wil be the centerpiece bid for the October Simlympic Games Bid.

The competition will be sometime in the summer. If you are interested in hosting, please reply below with the name of your country, and a picture of your city/country. But one thing only, don't pick a city with a land plot if it doesn't have enough traffic to get thorugh. I suggest doing a land plot somewhere in the city. More traffic and spectors will come if so.

Nice updates... I particularily like the residential areas and the cool pedestrian bridges on Ordon Blvd. Of course, as always, you don't dissapoint with the eye candy, that is the hot babes.

I think I'll pass on volunteering a smallish town like Winchester to be the host for the SimUniverse pageant, though there are numerous hot college chicks that attend Patrick Henry University.

Predeccia, Petrova

Happy Easter guys! Let's leave Chihiro, Ordona, San Prado and Grevershki and go to Western Petrova. Welcome to the Indistrial Capital of Petrova: Predeccia! Predeccia is the oldest city in Petrova and also my first major city. (This explains the tremendous amount of repitition of Maxis buildings in the city.) When I make my cities today, I make a section the city with industry, but since this was my first major city, my industrial, residential and commercial zones were scattered all over the city. Now, historically speaking, Predeccia was founded in 700 A.D and in fact, it was a Russian city named Asmigrad. Until the revolution boom in the 1600's Predeccia was a tiny cillage known for its medieval Russian military school. This city has lso proved useful during World War I and World War II. 

 

 

Today, located in Western Petrova, Predeccia is known for its thriving industrial city with a metropolitan population of 6 million. This city of 500,000 has been transformed from a war-torned place to a sprawling industrial metropolis. Its twin city, Avenida Vista is the business hub of the country. Predeccia has also been dubbed as the fashion and entertainment of Petrova. It is home to the famous Beauxmir Studios which is Petrova's version of Hollywood and Bollywood.  

As we travel the cities of Avenida Vista and Predeccia over the next few weeks, here is an introductory mosaic!

 

 

 

Urban Predeccia is known for its confusing roads and unexpectedly ending avenues. Predeccia also has the high-speed tram system that transports 4 million Petrovars daily from Predeccia and Avenida Vista. Hope to see you guys next time as we visit more of Predeccia!
