Update: DisneyPetrova Construction

Finally, Petrova is back in business! My CD drive broke so I wasnt able to play the game, but a generous friend made playing SC4 again possible! Anyways, due to the huge response of interest in DisneyPetrova and Chipari theme parks in Chihiro, I decided to grant your wishes by making the entire summer's updates about the developments of these two parks! There have been rumors of a third park....but who knows, stay tuned! I will try and give a lot more updates, but no more than once a week as I have procrastinated on my summer assignments haha....So without further ado, here is the first update: DisneyPetrova











This is the newly built Belt Electric Authority facility just outside Chihiro. By early 2010 all power plants emmiting high levels of pollution in the city will be removed as its been revealed that there are still three remaining in the city. The new facility in San Prado will be using wind and solar power.

 2010 Miss SimUniverse Candidate Selection

The moment y'all have waited for is here! The 2010 Miss SimUniverse candidates will be opening this weekend! As you can see, three of our candidates are in black and white, because they have been taken! Those people were active during the July Simlympic Games and were able to have first dibs! There's also one more person with first dibs, and that's Spore415 due to my mistake last year on MSU2009. So Spore, get your candidate quick!

Wow! DisneyPetrova is looking good! I actually just visited Disney World yesterday! ((if you don't live in florida, I advise you don't read on )) I stayed in Clermont and we got free tickets because I have relatives that work there. It was a great trip, but the tollbooths were torture!

As for firework illegality, Kalnobia is one of the world's top population density centers. Each apartment building contains around 80 people, so it would cause complete chaos if one of the apartments caught fire >

Simlympic Torch Relay Day 5: Chihiro, Petrova

The host of the 2009 October Simlympics is Leah, Paranor Island, by Craigkingofireland. He has a CJ here, so many of y'all probably know him. Anyways, you can find out more about the relay at Simsports by clicking here. And of course, you can watch all the action of the games by going to the main site or clicking here.

The games of the 11th Simlympiad continues its famous torch relay as we venture to the Eastern Eruopean country of Petrova. This is a modern simlympic city, hosting past torches and has bidded for a simlympics as well as hosted the 11th ISC Session. This city will be bidding again in August 2010 in hopes of capturing the rights to host the Summer 2010 Games. The torch relay commences early as the torch from Kigleo, Jiesan arrived in the country via helicopter arriving at the Gourmandy Market Square, a well known icon of the capital city. A parade has been arranged throughout the streets of Chihiro. The Petrovars favored Leah's bid and were happy to see their candidate win. However, there were terrorist threats from the Pro-Lafayettes of Petrovars, and as a result, there was heavy security present during the route of the torch.

Let's now tune in to the Beauxmir Broadcasting Company of Petrova to see the action of the relay! 

Now that the cauldron at the Chihiro Olmypic Centre has been lit, the people were treated with a huge concert starring some of the well known artists of today.

This leg of the relay has been a success. People from around Europe visited Chihiro to see the flame that lit the games of New Rhodesia, Payens-Osturland, Penthesili and Leah. There were no violent attacks by the rebels, in fact, there were some reports that they joined in the relay crowd. The simlympic games really unites the people together! Next stop is Mosman, New Bordeaux!
