purpledaddy, you got one third done by now. I can understand that you certainly see the difference between the towns and villages then and the cities today.

cowcorn, Yap, there's a mountainchain in your character's name alright and there's a reason for it also. We'll see about that later though.

kant01, Battlecat and Diamond Dave66, thanks for dropping in and glad you enjoyed the cities.

I will be very busy this week and not able to make the Axis City update for the weekend. I have to go to Colorado for a contract tonight and will not be back until Sunday or Monday, hope though to make it for the weekend after.

Purple means it's an airport. And I don't think it's been changed by ANY of the transport view modds.

i think you should download the SC4terraformer, you could open nexis of gensis and converter it into a file that can be downloaded without the cities, terrain only, that would be awsome, i think you should try it to se if it works.

Why? Would you like to have it?

Maybe I should. I'm gonna have a look more closely to see what the SC4Terraformer is all about.

    Fred:

It's always hard for me, when someone has done something as fully-realized and long-established as NoG to jump in and just start commenting away at, oh, say page 93 or so.  That's about when I finally decided to jump into this CJ world as a participant instead of a lurker- I read purpledaddy's comment about your "towns as babies" with a great deal of amusement (I actually wanted to say, "me, too").

You've now carried this endeavor past page 100.  It's interesting that this would happen so close in time as the same thing going on over at John's (Darmok's) Anduin Valley Revisited.  Both of you, and your CJs, are institutions here at ST, and long may that be so!

Great work on NEXIS of Genesis.  I'm looking forward to the next 100 pages.

    David

Thanks folks, really , I appreciate all your comments, especially yours degren.

I am still in Aspen /Colorado, first it was for a job, but then I visited the area and fell in love with it, so I took another week as a vacation. Will be home in two days (sunday) and then back to normal life and this CJ during the week after.

    See ya all.....2.gif

Nexis of Genesis is NOT a victim of anything, including rumours nor RL. Yes , it is still alive , but on *pausemode* for the moment being.

    In RL:

I had to finish a job in Colorado (Aspen) , which became a minivacation afterwards and then finished with me buying some acres of land for a cottage there, because I just fell in love with that region. That took me some time to have it finalized. I found out that it is not everyday that someone from Quebec/Canada buys land there.....lol.  Now that I am back though, I have to catch up on the time that I lost there, so please be patient, Axis City will be in the next update for sure! Give me a few weeks.

    Sorry about the delay. 15.gif

Edit:  Btw.....For those who have the possibility to travel, I recommend that you visit at least once Aspen/Colorado (in the US) and its surrounding towns and parks. It just has to be seen! I even had a 6x6 mature elk eating a carrot off my hands, an for a hunter like me , it is just amazing to see a tropy like this a couple of inches from him. The whole area is amazing and it gave me a lot of ideas for new BATs and terraforming. It was kinda inspiring.
