wow, that was quick for so many replies already, thank you, I'm glad you liked this update.

Wait until you folks see Gloryville, I guess then everyone wants to move there....lol[:0]

Yes DT , I use  some NDEX buildongs, I will have a lot more in Gloryville, most of them are starting to grow at this moment. Last night I had two NDEX grow in the City.

picard102, the lot you are talking about with the number 25 on top , is actually a chinese BAT,and either eddiem or Armandeus are in better position to tell you where I got it from in this thread:

    https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?mode=viewtopic&topicID=51212&num=30&pageNo=35

, because I have too darn many lots and BATs to remember them all.46.gif

....be back very soon with a smaller update.

Nexis City looks very nice, especially the picture of it at night, and it is good that the robot was able to land on Opall. Maybe while they are there the might figure out some way of destroying it or changing its direction so it doesn't hit Uru.

Yay! We get to see more cities! Excellent job, as usual.

I've always been wandering who that mysterious person from Skinner is, and now we found out! It's also good that Sherlock Holmes caught the murderers.

Oh, and the teaser picture for these updates changed into a picture of a house thing.

What I don't understand is how the son of Oriole could have survived so long. The first landing on Genesis was many yeara ago and although Gaburans have an exceptionally long lifespan, it doesn't seem possible that he could live that long.

First, Genesis is not yet a hundred years old (I mean the arrival of the Urulians). I have done some errors with time in the early beginning, simply because I went on with the story at first and without considering time.(First experience of a CJ...lol) So there is a time merge somewhere, but that was long before Oriole. I hope that it doesn't bother too much.

Now, Oriole died about 50 years ago or so and his son was 10 yo at the time, meaning that he must be in the sixties by now, right?34.gif21.gif......Oriole was replaced by Ciroyon in Axis City later who governed for 35 years and then was replaced by a new fellow, which is for 16 years (I think) the Mayor of Axis City.

One thing I would like to add though here, errors might occur (that's for sure) ,and I am glad that you all mention them, but this one is not supposed to be an error. (at least I hope not) I might be wrong for a year or two, but not much more.
It is hard to keep control of everything, plus the 58 characters, the game, the cities, the BATs and Lots, and the rest of the likes46.gif46.gif46.gif, so please understand....lol. -But if you see a real error, please advise me and I will either explain or correct it.2.gif....like this one could've been.

Thanks for mentioning this RadioheadFan and I hope it's cleared up now1.gif. I always like to receive any comments, whether they are positive or negative. I only learn with your observations and comments. So keep them coming!2.gif

I think he means voyeurism. I could be wrong, though. If it is voyeurism, however, it's similar to public lewdness-basically, exposing yourself in public.

Basicly someone who likes to watch.

    1. A person who derives sexual gratification from observing the naked bodies or sexual acts of others, especially from a secret vantage point.

lol21.gif....sorry about the mispelling....yes, it is voyeurism. This fellow was arrested, because he looked through the windows at night at the Slayer's Mansion, that is called voyeurism. Something that is not allowed on Genesis (neither on earth I think)

Yes, craztarchitect,a total of 58 characters, and that's not counting the 7 who died so far. 26 Old Characters,19 of the New Generation and 13 of my characters (Vallen Nexis, Troy,Lyll,Jadis,Tiel etc...).

cowcorn, you think too much47.gif34.gif.....lol (yes I received your pm)

Another question for you mr.b-you said many pages ago that later on in the history of Nexis the largest city would be called Cedar Springs with a population of 1.8 million. I'm just wondering if it actually turns out to be Cedar Bay? Because that would be really cool, like the student surpassing the teacher(making a reference to Mexis City)

I hope soon, Mr.B has supposedly spent the most time on it and made it brilliant! Ah well...the closest I have come to anything of Mr.B's is Kate Springs.8.gif8.gif8.gif

Thanks for answering screamomatic's question, swamper77, proof that you have been following the story closely.
Yes, all the folks with the name of Nexis are related to each other. It all started with Daight Nexis, the man that invented the LBST,
He has one son, Vallen Nexis, which is the richest Man alive on Uru and Genesis together, owning Nexis Corporation, Nexis Space Division and Nexis Ltd. His wife just died a couple of years ago and he is still alive and alone, almost 80 years old.

Vallen has a son in the name of Troy Nexis, who wanted to be independant from his father and started the Nexis Electronics Corp. Troy is married to the former Millionaire Dice's daughter , Noyita Dice, and they have two teenagers, their son Jadis Nexis and daughter Holly Nexis. Jadis Nexis just got married to Alexander MacVicar's daughter, Sarah MacVicar. and Holly is only 19 now.

Vallen's daughter Lyll(Troy's sister) is the proud owner of Nexis Railways and Nexis Bridges Inc, and not married and no children.
These are all the Nexis that are/were in the Story. One more joiniumng the family soon, because Sarah MacVicar is pregnant.

RadioheadFan, you already know to much about Cedar Bay, so I want confirm anything about its future.21.gif

Leech10, it ain't easy to keep track of all 58 characters (actually if you take it from the beginning, there were 102 characters in all, remember Oriole,Cpt Furron, Dr Reye Tremsyl,Col.Kroncx,Bimmel,Mollock etc...?) Many appeared only short moments and many died already.

I keep a sheet of paper  with the most important events of each character and for the rest I try to remember. It ain't easy and let me tell you that I have made a few errors and mistakes, many of which you all don't know.(the better)...but I,ll try my best to keep everything together.46.gif

superchad, Gloryville will be the last, something like the icing on a cake, so you have to wait for another 3 to 4 updates before you get a glimpse of it.......(hope you like the suspense....lol)9.gif

There will be an update later this week....2.gif

Yes, it sounds amazing. It makes me think that it will be like the cities I make that have parkland every 2nd block and run with budget deficits of $5000/month, only Gloryville will make a profit. Wow.....

I am still working in Gloryville and still haven't gotten it right to my liking. Since I do not only plop, I have to figure out where to put the RES and the COM, plus make some money also. So, I started an Hi-tech Industrial park, which brings in some money with 15% taxes, but I am still underbudget of -272

Wow, it looks great. Can't wait for the update tomorrow. Then again, I can never wait for updates! Sorry, I can't really type anymore than this, due to the large amount of drool I have to clean off of my keyboard.

Please recommend a good paper towel,
