Any chance I can get someone to make me/link me to a custom map that is like continents on a planet? Im hoping for a couple large land masses surrounded by ocean. Or is there any relatively easy/quick way to get into map making?

I hope we have some Pokemon fan in this community! Because I'm in need of Unova map since I want to build a replicas of each cities in Unova from Pokemon Black 2/White 2.

But it also have new cities in Pokemon Black 2/White 2 versions, like this

 

And I see this region as mountainous region, entire western Unova having mountains, as well eastern and northern Unova, except for southeastern area (such as Numeva Town, Striton City) as rolling hills and plains.

 

Hope anyone is willing to do that!

 

EDIT: Forgot to add, but also, it should be a very LARGE map, like 30x30 tiles so I'd fit every cities in there.

Could someone perhaps make a map that sort of looks like the one below? (size about 10x5 big tiles, the mountain range +1 big tile big so I can try to create an awesome national park. Other areas should be flat near the coast and then perhaps a few hills in some of the ? areas.

 

I can map how the tiles should be configured myself

 

 

Or perhaps if anyone has/knows of a map with a similar configuration, that could do as well

I have a request for a map of San Francisco Bay Area to scale. I know there are a couple out there now but they don't cover the WHOLE bay area From North Bay To South Bay and the peninsula. If it's possible all large tiles would be great.

I have spent the last week trying different tutorials to make maps using USGS, Microdem, Google Earth and Fantasticoast. Non of it is working like the tutorials. I am interested in making a map of the Georgian coast of Caucus region. Specifically around Poti. If anyone can help I'd be very appreciative.

 

My main sticking point at the moment with trying the fantasticoast tutorial is when I download the ASCII files they will not unzip. I have tried many google searches to figure out why but nothing is helping.

I would like to request a to scale map of my hometown, Petersburg, West Virginia plz. I dont know how all that works but I would like to make an exact replica of my hometown on here....so I need the size to be pretty close so I can accurately lay roads.

YEARS ago... user Leningrad made a wonderfull looking map of western New York encompassing Buffalo, the Niagara region and some of Canada as well. Unfortunately the scale was way off and all you could do was create sort of a caricature of the region. Is anybody willing to tackle this area again? User Sargeantcm has made beautiful recreations of many Buffalo landmarks and I would LOVE to use them in a scale accurate map.  To do this all that would be needed is a map of Erie County with the Niagara river and part of Canada to recreate the Peace Bridge border crossing.        Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello dear map-makers,

 

I'm in need of your assistance after having tried this myself and failing for two weeks straight. I've been a long time lurker, and only registered a while ago for first tasting the NAM and CAM modules.

I would really love to recreate my own country in Simcity4. I'm from the Netherlands, and I've seen several of the maps available on STEX. Some are just smaller regions within the Netherlands, and the only fullsize country region I saw isn't entirely to my liking.

 

My personal goal is to rebuild the Netherlands as accurately as I can, because .. well .. I'm Dutch

 

What I'd really like for this map is for it to be as close to scale as possible. I'd really like to see the very little elevation our country has to be intact in the final result. I don't mind  the German and Belgian borders being included in the end result, but you're also allowed to cut it out completely. Whichever is easiest for you all.
