I would like to request a to scale map of my hometown, Petersburg, West Virginia plz. I have returned to SimCity 4 after a 2 year break and Im new to mapping and completely lost. I want to make a city that is to scale with where I currently live. I would prefer it not be spread over a lot of different blocks on the region view but instead maybe one large block. I remember trying this before I believe and everything turned out backwards.....mountains being water and water being mountains....This was a very long time ago tho so I need to start from scratch because all I remember is, everything was wrong last time I tried. lol. I should probably include that Im not a techy person....Ive looked and looked and looked there these forums and Im still lost......Most of this seems french to me. Im hoping someone can give me a simple step by step guide(for major dummies like me) to taking a Google Map image of where I live and getting it to where its a playable region on SC4. I will need all included steps, including if and how I would use any mapping/terraforming programs. Please Help. Thank you in advance. If you can help me out with this, please let me know. I can provide any info you would need and I can follow directions well as long as its spelled out for non-techy ppl like me lol. Pictures help even more
