Awesome regional view ! and impressive ! I would like having a region like this, it's a great work you did, and the city is..... wow ! I love your beaches with white sand, and the theme park too. I add this CJ to my list of favourites.

I really like that redeveloped district! It looks really nice, and I like all the parks and green spaces, especially the park with the avenue smooth curves.

And that is one huge mosaic!

Don't know what to say about your road texture issue though, except that I've seen other people have that problem too.

ilikehotdogsalot: Thanks.  I up the brightness and contrast in Photoshop by 20 points each.  That corrects the dinginess that I get by default.

Here's a little something to pad out until the next update.  I've been working on various graphics projects for most of the day, and this took up the biggest chunk of my time:

For the first time in Calder City you can click the pic for a higher res view!!! I think i'll do this more often.  It was easier than I thought.

The Map shows the current extents of the city and its suburbs.  Calder City is still a small city by area, but the sprawl is about to begin! 

I made this map as a reference for all the various districts and satellite towns of the city.  I'll hopefully be able to update this map regularly as the city grows, and as I get round to naming some of the unnamed, already developed areas.

WOW, the last 2 updates were awesome, I'm thinking about expanding more in your region, I might build a regional office in Calder City, and possibly a hotel project in Southwell. I'll PM you soon with some plans. anyways, love the airport, it actually looks realistic.

Update 9 - City Centre Additions

For this update I had a little plopping spree in the city centre.  There are no new major changes to report, only new towers!

I'll make this update a simple picture fest.  I talk too much...

I think i'm beginning to realise that i'm an infrequent updater!  I apologise.  I do have more than half an eye on my other projects though.  I've been developint the Capital of New Gelderland, Hamilton (also in this region), and a new city in a different region (still New Gelderland).  All this is in preparation for the opening of my main CJ! 

Once I open my main CJ, Calder City will be updated as part of that CJ... I think.  There's still lots to see here though until then, including teasers maybe. 

As well as the above i've also been BATing a bit, and doing some lotting.  In fact, this last week i've been quite excited by my current BAT.  If I can pull it off it will be a nice addition to New Gelderland!

crazyarchitect: I completely forgot about your PM!  I'm so sorry.  I didn't mean to ignore you.  I don't plan to update Southwell Island in the near future, but I was thinking you'd like to own one of the hotels that I built.  Just choose one and claim it.  You can have an office building no probs.  I'm not keen on the one you suggested in your PM though.  The textures are way too bright.  Thanks for the nice comments!
