Brad2.jpgBrad: Hit the source button, then post that code.

Brian2.jpgBrian: Source button is the one that says source, upper left corner.

Brad2.jpgBrad: Once code is posted, hit source button again to do the rest of the post.

Brian2.jpgBrian: And there be instant image.

Edit:

Brad2.jpgBrad: And there be post bug...

Brian2.jpgBrian: Indeed.

Don't know what you did, but it works fine for me. Just press the button next to the frog (nice ST 6.0 software translates name of button to Dutch, so I can't tell you it's name), and insert the URL, it works for me, as you can see. For another way: don't use html-code, it doesn't work on most forums, including this one. EDIT: Follow Leech on this, HTML-code, doesn't work when typed, but it does in source, he sais below and abov

Edit: updated to see working image, and because of (***) Page Flip Bug.

EDIT: @leech: Didn't chance, was deleted because of stupid PFB...

And bb doesn't work here, wonder why, it does work on most forums.

Brian2.jpgBrian: I think the only BB code that works is the stuff like bold, underline, links, quote and a couple other things.

Brad2.jpgBrad: Not images, as was found out last page.

Brian2.jpgBrian: HTML will work, but you have to post it in the source window, not the main editor.

Brad2.jpgBrad: See above post to see where to post it.

Edit: Odd, the post changed...

Interesting statement about Volume 3, in the new CJ section. It has historical preceden. I should check Schulmania more often, but I'm often quite busy.

You had me thinking Schulmania got trains. 3.gif Oh well. (If you haven't noticed, I like anything that has an engine and goes 4.gif )

Great looking town though. Superb placement of the church too! 9.gif

OK... I am trying again to see if I can get the posting of pix right w/o a bunch of clicking...

    wish me luck!

    [img src="https://i189.photobucket.com/albums/z141/Schulmanator/shirt.jpg"]

I was hoping to post entirely in code, as I was before, to avoid a bunch of clicking and stuff.

You host your updates offsite, right? If you're using Firefox at least, you can simply copy the entire update and paste it. The pics will show if you do that. 4.gif That's what I do.

Brad2.jpgBrad: What is wrong with just using the source menu? It is only 2 extra clicks.

Brian2.jpgBrian: One to open it, then paste in the code, editing it to get each image--

Brad2.jpgBrad: --or more copy and pasting, whichever it is that you do--

Brian2.jpgBrian: --which would be the same as it was before--

Brad2.jpgBrad: --and one to go back to regular editing mode.

Brian2.jpgBrian: As for this code, I don't know where you entered it--

Brad2.jpgBrad: --but seing as it is some weird BBcode/HTML hybrid--

Brian2.jpgBrian: --I think that the code should be checked first before testing.

Brad2.jpgBrad: Or, you could try asking the admins to allow BBcode images to work again.

Don't know what you did last time with the pictures, but the img as well as the url lead to the picture.

    Testing Leech's idea:

Edit: code went 'boom' and didn't show up.

    Retry by code button:

    shirt.jpg

Well, the image appears in the edit screen. Edit: And so it does in the forum, so to post an image: open the code/source button, ignore the weird coding and don't mess with it, and type <img src="url of picture" alt=""/>, that should do it.

    Schulmania's Dutch Treat!

    Animated-Flag-Netherlands.gif

The upcoming Schulmania.Info webpage update will be the first to be simultaneously released in English and Dutch! Thanks to Schulmania's newest employee, Korot, who has been hard at work translating not just some of the existing pages of the website into Dutch, but also has translated the newest pages to be released. You will have a lot to see coming up soon - and you can see it twice - in English and in Dutch.

In honor of his hard work, Korot has been named Schulmania's Employee of the Month! Here's his paycheck:

Congratulations, Korot! Have a drink to celebrate your achievements!

I am TOTALLY lost. Does this mean I have to spend a few hours and go back and re-read everything I missed the last few weeks of my nigh-inexcusable absence?

I suppose I'll have to SWING by more often, hyuk hyuk9.gif.

A few technical notes: if you spot any broken links or other errors on the
Also, there is a news tidbit on the Schulmania Blog http://schulmania.info/blogengine.net/ which will be part of a press release by Admiral Hestorb. She urges calm while reading her blog. More on that to come soon.
A posting technical question for anyone: I have used the clicky thing to add pix to my posts. It seems to often either deletd the rest of the post or the 3-5 lines under the picture insertion point. I also seem to have weird problems when I try to change font faces... esp. courier. It gives me a script error. Anyone else see this one? You note I could not finish formatting this section of text - color, font, etc. - thanks to this glitch.
Anyone else having this problem? I had to add 12 lines of blank space below the pic above just to type this!

Danielcote Thank you. I am glad you liked it.
Hester I will take some fruit stripe gum… orange.
Evillions The university has been relotted a bit to make three different set ups. I have all three in the same vicinity.
Leech10 Thanks. I was trying to replicate my previous set up when I posted in all code and did not have to go back and click on stuff. Looks like I can’t quite do it that way anymore.
Korot Thanks for your help. It seems as if the spacing is also a bit off on this version when I post pix. But, I will tweak how I post to correct that. I hope.
Leech10 I will use the clicky thing for pictures for the time being. It was handy though to just post it all in code and not edit it at all.
Patricius Maximus I am always glad to have you drop in. Once the dust settles on the new section, I may look into a volume 3 over there to eliminate the PFB forever!
Twenty20 Merci! Indeed, he has. There’s more of it to see in the next update as well.
Zelgadis Thanks! No trains yet for Schulmania. But, if there were going to be any, they would precede cars. (Slightly veiled hint)
Zelgadis Hmmm… I usually have the update fully done in MSWord before I post. Can I post it straight form there do you think? Or would it have to be in some other posted form on another site first? Mine are PDF on the Schulmania site.
Leech10 Well, it is a few extra clicks, but that is clicks per image. That can add up to a whole lotta clicks after a while!
Jacqulina Thanks for your help. I tried several permutations and am 0 for everything. So, I will click away for the time being. But, I will continue to endeavor to break the Tyranny of the Click.
Korot Thanks. I think I will just click for now. But, I will continue to search for a cure.
Gn_leugim Indeed! When I post the page 100 awards soon, you will see that you are in the top spot for Volume 2 posters.
PhatHead I think this one is salmon flavor with tuna sprinkles!
Danielcote LOL! Only 0.99 at the store… buy one today!
NMUSpidey YES! You must go back and read EVERYTHING! And memorize it for a big test. A 65 page essay test!
Balkair LOL! School tends to do that to people! I feel your pain. You are forgiven since you agreed to translate more pages into Greek!
Korot I hope you enjoy the Busscastle chocolate. It is on par with the finest in European chocolates. You know, some of the finest chocolate I ever ate was purchased in Amsterdam. So good…. So, so good!
Tomasneto Obrigado! Always glad to see you back. Are you about ready for a SchulmaniQuest update?
Hester Thanks! I hope you liked the various corporate sponsors we have for the travel page too!
Leech10 Thanks for the Zukish translations. When I do my next updating, I will add those right in there.
NMUSpidey Pansies? Never! Catnip all the way! BTW, think I should plant a plot of it in the new garden this spring?
Korot Thanks for alerting me to where the fixes need to be made. When I do my next updating, I will repair as needed and upload. I should have new Zukish and maybe Greek pages as well. Thank you for your industriousness. I appreciate it and the Supreme Wirdle purrs for you!
Tomasneto Certainly! Have you seen the Portuguese pages yet? Gn_Leugim has translated several pages for Schulmania. Start here to see what we have: http://www.schulmania.info/translations_files/index_portugues.htm
Gn_leugim You are most welcome to visit anytime! Come on over!

Brian2.jpgBrian: It caues gunk to materialize.

Brad2.jpgBrad: At least it did before.

Brian2.jpgBrian: Come to think of it, forum to MS word causes problems, too.
