Nice work all around! Your building variety is really excellent... there are many houses and office towers all over. I like the second shot a lot! Its a very nice city scene. Lastly, great pair of overview shots to end this great update! Keep it up, I'll be back for more.

Nice close up shots, beautiful neighbourhoods and excellent apartments.

Next step would be to beautfiy your riverside downtown with some seawalls or embankments?

Nice downtown! I like that it's not overdone, just a few nicely placed tall buildings. It looks like a nice place to live.

Whoa, downtown is growing like wildfire! I also like the suburb, except for all the cul-de-sacs. It would probably be pretty hard to navigate through there.

Excellent downtown! You did not overdue it, or bunched everything up.

That is cool. You should make a river walk or something along the river

    Bad News and Good News...

Bad news is that I'm going home for 6 days, and I cannot fly my PC, and Good News, that when I come back, I present to you all the cities in the State of McGregor...

    Replies

    replies2jm2.jpg

    Benedict: Thanks for the comment...

etherian: I'm learning how to do mosaics, hopefully the next Update will contain one..or two...

Glad you like the new neighborhood, but the city ain't gonna grow anymore, so no seawalls...yet

Death54: There is industry in the city, with almost 1200 jobs, it's all high tech, maybe 5% manufacturing...I just don't present them, since they are not so well developed as other parts of the city, If you look at the first page, you'll see industry in some pictures, a little part of it...oh and btw, my region population is 400.000...

super_monkey: Thanks for the support and for the comment, and sorry fo the really late replies, and really late Updates, no updates actually...but will continue this Cj as soon as possible...Check out the new cities/images...and I hope you'll have the patience until the further Update...

Nemesis666: The images are not manipulated in any way, I just use the Dark Night mod from Gizmo's site (I think that's how it's called), thanks for posting your comment

Lordy Lord: Thank you, your comment made my day!

gabetx: It took me almost 5 hours to make that Downtown, it has to look nice...about the regionview, I'm working on that one, check out this update to see some other cities in the region...

    Shingure: Thanks!!!

edmonton_stinks:  Glad you like it, and about the cul-de-sacs...well, I think a ded end street is a quieter one, and since street endings are not that nice, I thought cul-de-sacs would do, and they did the job...

mancoolman: I'd say about 50-50...the bigger ones are plopped though

bobinator: I'll keep it coming...in about one and a half weeks

jacqulina: Thank you for all the comments, and for all the support!

Twenty20: Glad you liked it, I think it turned out quite realistic too

palin1388: What do you mean by would "light up all the time"?...thanks for the comment, oh and the building on the right is the Tx Residential Diamante, you can find it on the Stex...

AceofSpades: Was growing fast, future updates will no longer involve the cities population, or Saint George for that matter, except few cases...

ky72x: More to come!!!, thanks for the comment...

Lifetec: Thanks, and keep up the good work with Land Van Cujik

Jambi: I really tried not to overdo it...I have this terrible urge to place tall building all the time, but they would just ruin the skyline...here...

    Madog: Thank you!

bbfan02: Thank you for the comment, it's nice to see so many people like what I did...1.gif

ophelia26: There was a riverwalk, but due to lack of space, I (Mayor Bloomberg) demolished it, maybe will make new ones in the future...

    And Now, Update #14:

I'll present to you four cities in the state of McGregor:

Grandview: Small 16.000 population city, with a very distinguish Downtown:

    grandview16jan311208898hy2.jpg

Tatterdome: Middle sized city, 35.000 residents, built in the 19th century, under the influence of the dutch:

Capital City: As the name suggest

I didn't know you had other cities in your region lol. Are we going to see more of Saint George? Also, IMO you should terraform the coast of Capitol City so you can make some seawalls there. I love the European looking areas.

Have a safe trip. Thanks for the building I have just the spot for it. And as for the lighting issue I found the problem I didn't have the Patch installed *bangs head on desk again. and I have quite a few cities with custom content in the heart of the city so some of the buildings would light up while others would not. *I'll go bang my head for stupidity now.

First town is British, second town is Dutch, third town is American and fourth town is French! That's a ton of building styles!

Very very nice. Especially the downtown area. Buildings are spread out evenly and randomly. Not too congested to get an eyesore. Will keep track of this. Maybe you should add some seawalls to get a more proper 'feel'. GOOD WORK!

What a beautiful little town centre you have there. I love the british style there. I would reccemend a sidewalk mod and the european road textures which would improve the european look you're going for.
