New Grounds Cypretona, Almora Rick: Good to see you Lady Lipton. Thank you for sending Karen over as fast as you could. Eva: Your Welcome Rick. Any idea on what that object is? Rick: Why don’t you come over to my office. Eva: Ok. Rick: Thanks nobody here knows what is going on but Karen believes that it is an engine to an advanced starship. From where or when are unknown and if you want more details you would have to ask her. But enough of that did you enjoy your tour of the complex? Eva: I’m very pleased that the complex is fully complete. And I can’t wait in the next few weeks as we launch the first components into space for the Eden Skydock. It’s just too bad I’m going to miss out on the first components launch. Rick laughs Eva: What is so funny Rick. Rick: Well today is the launch of the first component per say. We wanted to test out the new communication relays so we are launching a beacon that is going to be a marker for the Eden Skydock. Eva: That’s great news, how far is launch. I would love to stay and see it. Rick: Well the launch is in 36 minutes and in fact I need to get back on to the mission floor. Eva: Good, can you send in Calette. I need to rearrange my schedule a bit. Calette: Did you need me Madam? Eva: Yes Calette. Would you mind calling Mayor Finyard and letting him know that we will have to push the press conference back by 15 minutes? Calette: Is this the press conference regarding the new space academy? Eva: Yes Calette that one. Eva walks back out of the office and watches the personal scramble getting everything ready for the launch. Rick: Launch is in less then a minute you excited Eva. Eva: Yes Rick. I can’t wait. Man: T minus 10…9…8…7…6…5…start main engines…2…1…0…We have launch of the Vera 6 rocket carrying the beacon for the Eden skydock. Eva: Wow. It looks like everything went fine.

My next update was meant to be posted today but I've been helping clean up crews in my area. We got hit by a few tornadoes on monday and haven't had much time to post an update but stick with me I've done my part so the next update will come shortly as soon as I get some sleep and recoup.

I love the riverside park and the walking trails. I bet some of those workers in the downtown go down there for lunch on nice sunny days.

And as for the lighting issue I found the problem I didn't have the Patch installed *bangs head on desk again. and I have quite a few cities with custom content in the heart of the city so some of the buildings would light up while others would not. *I'll go bang my head for stupidity now.

Syne What? Varnasse, Valnor Rick: Thank You for Coming as fast as you could Karen. Karen: What seems to be the problem? Eva was very brief in her communication that I was required down here. Rick: Well we can’t understand the sensor readings. We are positive that the object that is not of this world and believe it might have something to do with space travel. You are the most highly regarded astrophysicist on the planet. We recently picked up on large energy sources all around us. Some near some pretty far out. We are not sure if they are hostile or friendly but none the less we want to ensure the safety of your people. Karen: What type of energy sources? And why are you telling me this? Rick: Because we are getting energy readings from this object that are very close to the ones around us. Karen: Ok. I’ll take a look but no promises. First off lets narrow the scanning aperture by 5% it will increase the by-lateral readings. Rick: That better? Karen: Somewhat. Any idea what the biological matter is in the scans? Can you increase the Gamma Correction by 6 degrees Rick: No. I got a xenobiologist on the way in to look at them. OK, Gamma is at 6 degrees any better. Karen: Thats much better lets see wants going on here now. umm. Interesting. Rick: What is it? Karen: No need on the xenobiologist I got it now. It’s an Algae or Bacterial mass purpose built to create and store large amounts of Electricity. It’s interesting because we’ve looked into doing the same with the Synechocystis bacteria. Rick: Syne what? Karen: It’s a type of bacteria that produces electrical nano-wires and then converts heavy metals in to oxygen and electricity. Like a battery only this is just on a much smaller scale and no need to recharge. But by the looks of this, it’s a propulsion unit of some sort. To what, I’ve got no clue. Rick: Whatever. Just as long as you think it’s safe to pull it out of the water? Karen: Yes but I would take it directly to Tumba Olin and I would gather a team of the brightest engineers. I’m going to reverse engineer this sucker. Rick: OK I'll get it shipped out through this Airstrip on the other side of town and ship it out by tomorrow.

I was planning on updating today but due to RL events I've got to postpone the update until Friday at the earliest. But some teaser shots for you before you leave. Replies will be posted with the update. You'll be seeing these two pictures again.

Nice small city. I Like the new streets the city looks much better after that. As for the park go with the first one It will provide an appealing addition to the city.

Character Bios Following the suggestion of Zel I decide to do a character bio update so everybody knows who is who and what he or she does. School finals are this week so I don't have as much time to get pictures out for this update but as of the 25th I'm all done with school. I’m planning on another update to go into details on the races. I’m planning on incorporating that in to a discussion along the story line. The wording is a bit awkward at this time but I hope to work it out with the next couple of weeks. Deinos: Very similar to the Lacerts: height 2.1 meters or 6 feet 10 inches, Weight 85 kilos or 187 pounds. As a mother she is a bit overly protective over her brood. As a politician she is very decided in her actions and some times a bit demanding. Rick Lamianet Age: 43 Race: Humas Job: Director of Eden Space Agency Siblings: 1 sister Marital Status: Married Children: 1 Jacob Bio: Rick is pretty much the standard husband and father. He enjoys a good wine ever so often. His marriage has not been the best in the world but his wife and him are going on 20 years so far. He has known Eva for a good 10 years. The death of Eva’s husband is what saved his marriage and he has became the father for her kids. Reference: Rick is the embodiment of my dad cool headed, not letting things get to him but firm never the less. Growing up I said I never be like him but after having a kid of my own I realize why he was the way he is and hope I can be just like him. Henry Williams Age: 29 Race: Humas Job: Director of Eden Interior Agency Siblings: none Marital Status: Divorced Children: none Bio: Henry is hot headed to say the least. Doesn’t want kids at all. More concerned about Power then anything else. Reference: Henry is an offshoot of myself before I became a father only to the extreme a bit more.
