About the filler lots: When you know that you want to plop a lot of them simply remove the MML lot out of the plugin folder.

What an interesting update, I like the way you showed and explained the town development. That's something I always tried to show myself, not sure if I achieved that so well. Also the farming surrounding the village is spectacular. Great end-of-the-year update my friend.

Hello to All!

I hope you are not too shocked - a full update and a Mini-Update within a week ... but there's a reason for this: My last three pictures in the picture competition all went to the Hall of Fame and Yoman said he would like to see the surrounding of the overpass in the last pic:

So I fired up SC4 for the first time in this year and made some screenshots (including a test version of Kenworth's catenaries for the smooth railway curves ...   )

And now for the first (Minj-) Update in 2008:

An overview over the corner of the map of Wallmersdorf with the small village Fierhlingen. The railway line that branches off the main line in the upper halt of the pic leads to Kempenich, where we had been in the last update. 

Please be aware that this is map is still under construction!

Kenny's RegionalExpress in the smooth curve and his new testversion of the catenaries for smooth curves. I just realized I di plopped them a bit wrongly ...

Unfortunately I couldn't handle the graphic glitch at the overpass ...

The center of the village is the St. Peter - Church. Fiehrlingen has always been a fishermen village and so the chruch is dedicated to ST. Peter, who had been a fishermen, too, before he followed Jesus Christ.

This one is dedicated to the creator of the catenaries and the RegioExpress: A freight train and a RegionalExpress meet at the railway station.

I like how you captured the small town feel with Kempenich. Who made that Catholic church, I don't think I recognize it? And the standard house of worship managed to look good for a change.

Wow, you really need to mind your step when coming out of that barn in pic 17.46.

I'm glad you found the time for another update. Very nice pictures . Gotta love those trains... amazing details there, Bernhard. Not only the trains, but also  your use of catenary-poles, BATs, flora, etc.

As for my exams, thank you for your confidence. There's a point where it doesn't depend on the skills only, but on motivation, attitude and the form on the day.

PhilsCafe: My worst exam was Steel and Concrete construction. Two full scale exams at the same day, and you needed to pass both of them. I failed two times and at the VERY last try (spoken exam ... ) I finally passed otherwise my studies would have been finished without diploma ...  I do know how you feel but I know you are goping to make it!

No, I am not sick, no, this is not a quick reply, and yes, you do look right. This is the third (Mini) update within a couple of days ...

royal from the SFBT just finished his first version of (West-) German electric light signals as they can be dound almost everywhere in West Germany on the railway lines of the former Deutsche Bundesbahn!

Before we start:

And my first trials look like this:

If you think you know these pics somehow you are not completely wrong. I showed pictures of this map before while I was showcasing the catenaries, now I am showing you the new railway signal ...

Approach Signal with approach signs - this time with the modern electric signals. The smal sign between the tracks is the approach sign for the ...

... small switch signal between the tracks next to the Entry Signal. In Germany RR use the right track, but in case the right track is blocked these switch signals allow the usage of the left tracks.

Same situation from the other side.

A railway station with exit signals. The Bundesbahn combined stop signals and switch signals. As a result these signal showed two red lights. The most modern signs have one single red line again.
