Question - Which do you like best for night-time highway night shots?

When I was on a holiday, I sat in a bar which played chillout music and showed beautiful, tranquil, night cityscapes all across the globe. It was a terrific show for an urban-sensitive fellow like me. Your pictures are very much like what I saw.

I'd go with either the first one or the last one.

The "SimCity 4" vanilla Opera House is the most evil thing in existence. Avoid.

I imagine it'll be a personal preference sort of thing, but I prefer Maxis Night.

I like being able to actually see things and I think back to old movies CB and I watch. Those from way last century can have night scenes and while more grayish, you can still see all that is happening and enjoy that as the plot unfolds. More recent movies just toss up a near black mess for half an hour and you might as well turn the screen off and just listen. (It really seems to me that's a giant leap backwards in entertainment.)

Ohh that's a good way of putting it. The Dark Night mod definitely looks fantastic for skyline shots at night, but I just love being able to see all my highways and the movement of cars on them which is why I could never fully switch to using it. Though perhaps some might say that's a bit of twisted obsession in this time of climate change(even if the city is fictional), I promise I'll get some help one day! 😅

Have a look at this NAM tutorial: https://www.sc4nam.com/docs/feature-guides/turning-lanes/#building-slip-lanes.

Note that it uses two networks, first the One-way road, then the Road network!

Hey, i tried, but no success till now:( I followed the steps and nothing worked. Am I doing a mistake or is the documentation oudated:???: (note I have NAM 49)

It is not outdated. I have tried only a few days ago and it worked. And I am sure you switched between networks, i.e. building the stub with One-way road, then dragging with Road. So perhaps something necessary from NAM was not installed? Maybe double-check, here are the requirements: https://www.sc4nam.com/docs/feature-guides/turning-lanes/#installation.
