I like the image a lot! The nice rural highway in the backround looks great. In my perspective, you dont have to change anything with it.

sims co: Thanks for the reply about the signature image!

bbfan02: Glad you like the image! If nothing needs to be done about it, then I'll leave it as it is!

    Update time!

It just so happened that I had some time to spare today to gather a few pictures and info to make another update.  It will focus mainly on the development of Downtown, and a couple close-ups of the densest parts of the city.

As stated in update 1.0, Downtown is about 95% developed, with the remaining land at astronomical land values.  The mayor (me) wants to make this area more open as well, allowing some "breathing room" for the public which is not attainable in the older parts of the city.

Thus, the new areas will include some forested areas, more GLR, and some RHW expressways to help keep commuters happy.

    Picture Information:

    NOTICE:  Please Read!

Before I post some pictures of my cities, please know that I strive for the best quality of my images possible.  Every picture from here on-in is not photoshopped in any way, and is taken directly from the game to show you exactly what I see in the game.  The only editing done is converting the .PNG file to .JPEG.

***IMPORTANT***    Also, please know that my pictures are COMPRESSED, and are NOT RESIZED! When you resize a picture, a ton of the image's quality is lost, and is shrunk to comply with ST's picture size limits.  Compressing the image retains the quality, but looks terrible when squeezed to comply with site limits.

But, I have found a loophole in this problem.  Each compressed picture displayed will be linked to the actual uncompressed, true image.  All you have to do to view the image in its FULL RESOLUTION (1440x900) is to simply click on the compressed image displayed in this city journal (800x500).  The reason that the images are not 800x600 is because I present my pictures in widescreen (16:10 aspect ratio), making the image much more appealing for the human eye's stereoscopic vision.

If you have any questions or comments about how I display my images, feel free to post a reply.

Some more info about the city, displaying the aging population.  An issue that may become a problem in the coming years...

-Also shown here are other measurements: The map, funds, population (ignore the population/funds, this photo was taken a while ago), and demand bars.

-In the background, several office buildings and connections are shown.

Great pics haljackey, the only thing that sticks out is the lady filler in your roundabout. Just seemed out of place to me.

projectadam:  You don't like that lady filler in my roundabout?  Well, I downloaded it on Somy's sit and I had to place it somewhere!  What should replace it?  Grass, a landmark, a skyscraper? Thanks for letting me know!

jacqulina:  Good road system?  LOL I think I made it a little too complicated, but I am glad you liked it!  Progress is progress, and you can bet that this CJ will be progressing and progressing as time passes us by.

michaelshayne: I am glad you like the city!  Thanks a lot for the comment!

bbfan02: Wow is one word.  Oh well.  There has to be a picture there that you think I could do better in SOME way.  Thanks for the compliments on the interchanges too!

suplado!: Thanks!  I am glad you like the layout!

sims co.: Ya, I like the sky port too!  Thanks for your comments!

Fresh Prince of Wmbg: Yo, thanks for the comments Dude!

ATLLAD: Thanks!  Never knew it was colourful, but after looking again, I guess it is!

nissanskyline1235: Well, I zone high-density, allowing the sims decide what to put there.  It turned out to be very urban.  Thanks for the comment!

lucky7: Its only going to get "massiver" (if thats even a word).  Stay tuned for future updates!  At least you like the roundabout filler.  Merry Christmas to you too!

hamish: Thanks!  Your comments are always appreciated!  I have a feeling that those drive-ins won't last long though 3.gif

Thanks for the feedback and to everyone who view update 1.1!  Update 1.2 is on its way, but I am not sure if it will come before or after Christmas.  Sit tight, it will come in due time!

    Happy Holidays everyone!

    Mini-Update!

Well, its not much, more of a teaser shot of a new city I am making.  The photo showcases my largest interchange, which IS photoshopped to make it look "Christmasy".  Anyways I hope you like it and Merry Christmas!

Interesting picture, that would be a mess to get out of. Honestly, It's not realistic, but I like its creativity and it's unique look. Looking forward to the full update.

bbfan02: Thanks!  Hope you had a great Christmas!

jugioh1012: Okay, now I have that straight.  Its big, I know, but it should be very easy for sims to navigate.

Mike the Mayor: Thanks!  I strive for the best quality I can get.  I want you to see what I see in SC4!

    suplado!: Thanks, it is huge!

crazyyaya: Thanks, I am still working on it.  Realistic wise, I understand where you are coming from.  Due to the lack of a 12-lane stack interchange (which do exist in RL) in SC4, I had to make something like this.

Anyways, RL is killing me right now, but I (sort of) PROMISE That there will be a update before the new year.  Keep your fingers crossed!
