Beautiful work. Looks very much like a truly cosmopolitan city.

Great work with these W2W BATs - especially but not only with porkissimo's new diagonal Paris BATS.

But my personal highlight is the elTrain terminus with the W2W corner - buildinbg next to it! Just great!

Ahh, AK 9.gif!  Time for my weekly jaw-dislocation...

Really nice selection of pictures you have for us!  Your selection of BAT's never ceases to amaze me!  I personally have never even tried to dive into the world of French/Dutch W2W lots, simply because I wouldn't know the first thing about how to go about it (I've never been out of the country, and if I were to attempt it, it'd probably just end up a caricature of someone else's work 34.gif).  You do it as if you've always built cities this way, though!  You're probably the most efficient user of space in the entire CJ section...efficient, in that every tile has something on it (even if it's just a park), but you're not just purposelessly cramming things on top of everything else just to fill it 29.gif.

Your skyline is awesome!  Amazing building variety...except, it kind of stops abruptly on that street.  It's not so noticeable on the East-flowing river, but that long, straight street along the hill just kind of cuts it off.

Something I notice in your pictures is that you seem to have a few less rails than in your other cities...or maybe they're just less prominent.  I only noticed it because I found it kinda humorous how this is more of a Euro-Asian style city, but there's seemingly less rail than in your American ones 20.gif.  Looks amazing, though!

You know, I think everytime I come in here, I just automatically go into "46.gifPermanent Awe 46.gif" mode.  It's not too hard to figure out why.  Awesome update 44.gif!

yeah masochist i'm definitely running out of suitable mid rise BATs to blend the skyline, especially that would fit the Euro style. As for rail its my first dive into GLR as well, which is rather hard to see, there actually might even be more rail, i'll show this better next time, i've already added a lot, what you see above is only half of the tile. Glad youn like it and you always have the best responses.

yeah it's hard to tell but the highrise and commercial along the coasts is lower than the rest, and olny accesible via rail, ridership numbers are very high, i do this in all my cities if you look back a few pages, to force sims to use transit.

You've really expanded your horizons, AK. I love looking at your CJs because of the level of detail and variety in them. One day, we get an American CBD, the next an Asian inspired downtown. Today, you've turned to a European style which is my favorite of yours as of now.

Wow, this is amazing. It's intimidating to see how much custom content goes into a good looking city. I don't recognize any of those buildings you have. I think I need to get to work on downloading some

Hi Alek. I'm running out of superlatives when looking at your work.

Great use of Porkissimo's new diagonal BAT's they are simply beautiful, and the mix of old and new architecture in your city is done in a way that there's no clash but rather kind of a symbiosis! Tramway for one thing is so well integrated that it fit's right in! Something I still have to learn...

Oh well, old dogs can learn new tricks...

    Take care

    John
