Happy birthday, Alek.  It's good to see that those advancing years...

...what are you now, 25?

...haven't affected the hand of the master.  I continue to come here to look and see what I'd want my cities to look like, once I ever get around to building one.

Best wishes in the year ahead, my friend.

David

I've always lurked around in here, but never posted. but your last set of updates just made me feel bad for not posting. Excellent work. The time and effort you put into your cities is clearly visible. one suggestion, don't put motorways in the older European parts of town. Motorways through European city centres are almost non existant.

great work

So, I kind of don't have the words to describe how amazingly awesome and wonderful your city is. I don't think I would do it justice if I tried. Seriously...you got city building skills.

just some more stunning work, man! but that turn for the rail line in the last pic is a little tight, don't you think? that's the only thing i can find wrong with your work; amazing stuff!

and happy b-day! 25, eh? you only have about 4 years on me!

This looks nice, I like your extensive use of retaining walls for your highways and railroads. I like how the highway slowly comes above the walls to go over the railroad.

Your city is very impressive. Looks very elegant ad organized. May I ask you did u download most of the things off SIMTROPOLIS or you made some of them yourself. I have been searching some of the buildings in your CJ for some time but did not come across any. THANKS

A great aesthetically pleasing city! The urban spaces have been planned and developed with thought and attention; not something you normally see!

these pics have a definite european look to them. the use of corner lots are well placed, as is the transport layout.

fantastic use of citynuts refineries.... although with the abscence of back yards on the diagonal buildings... maybe a streetside mod might liven up those now extensive diagonal areas??

Excellent, excellent use of the diagonal buildings, they look really amazing being applied to large areas! Looking forward to more,

The massive blocks a diagonals and the large oil refinery look quite good. And I agree with Dan (dfnva) about how the highway goes over the railroad. I liked how you used the extended elevated to ground highway transition instead of the short one.

Happy belated birthday!
