Godzillaman, great work, I hope you'll post some close-ups when the city is completely developed 2.gif

io_bg: I just noticed that your mosaics are not posted correctly. They are posted as one image that has a length obviously over the 600 limit:

17. Image Size. The maximum size for images is 800 x 600 pixels horizontally or 600 x 800 pixels vertically. Stacked images or mosaics are permitted.quote>

Here's downtown Gruma. You'll notice (in both pictures), quite a bit of unused zone. This is the result of a recent upgrade to much of the roadwork in the area. Hopefully this will fill in soon enough and, eventually, I hope to get a more interesting skyline. Gruma is somewhat disadvantaged in population since almost half of the city is water, so it's hard to get a nice balance of population. For instance, this downtown is really too tall and dense for a city of only ~180,000.

Anyway, first, a day view, from the south.

And, an obligatory night view, this time from the north and a little wider.

This is my first time posting. This is my city of Seattle. Even though I had the demand, no buildings were growing so I had to plop them. Either way I think it turned out decent.

Hey! That exactly what my downtowns are like! I actually like the smaller ones like yours because there isn't so many traffic problems.

I had some before that I could have shared but I lost them in a computer crash! 15.gif I'm building a new one though, I'll post a pic then.

One thing i look at is how many repeated buildings some of these pics have. and some have very little repetition and i like that a lot !

Here is my current, still in an early stage. I'm working on getting all the vanilla stage 7 and 8 CO$$$ before I start bulldozing to add bats.  Still have to clear some space for the 4x4 maxis growables, but I think the demand is enough to get them growing.
