These are all impressive...here's a couple downtown shots of the core of Lakeshore City.

downtowncoresep93912147ly0.jpg

A close-up of Lakeshore Avenue about .5 km from the waterfront.

A little south east we see some denser apartment complexes with the Nokia office tower.

Along the intersection of Lakeshore Drive and Crowchild Trail we see a couple hotels, offices, and a parking garage.

Let me know what you think.  Good luck.

Cheers.

Downtown Great Falls. To the fa left you can see the Palazo Contrini (built 1862), which marks the Italian heritage of this town. It is now the home of the Federal Governor, Francis LaVine.

The outer ring (by the beach front) is all high wealth, high cost apartments which have excellent sea views. Inside the perimeter avenue is the commercial downtown, where such companies as 'Tyrolean Industries', 'dbaInternational' and 'Fuzz' are headquartered.

The city has been commended for its use of trees and open spaces, giving it an airy feel.

My Great Lake City. You see the Downton Areas 'Central', 'Queen Victoria', 'Queen Anne', 'Chinatown' and the southern areas of the city: 'Jubilee' and 'Peninsula'

This is Freedom Harbor, a haven of corrupted politicians and organized crime, based on the city from a certain Grand Theft Auto. *cough*Liberty City*cough*

Apologies in advance if the image does not work. This is part of downtown Kichtiat, the capital and largest city of  Transpacifica, a group of islands (and eventual CJ), off the coast of Washington state and British Columbia in the eastern Pacific. This is the financial district of Kichtiat, looking north. While this does not reflect the character of the city, Kichtiat is considered a crossroads between the east and west, and is the commercial hub of the North Pacific.

Hmmm...haljackey wrote a very useful tutorial on how to post pictures on Simtropolis that you can find [right here].  And as a favor:

That's a nice looking CBD!  I like the mix of BAT's, and the fact that it's not too tall or dense.  The green areas also help...very realistic!

The empty res lots are the result of me getting fed up with a particular building growing too much and going on a bulldozing rampage. 4.gif
