Great downtown/CBD's everyone! They look spiffy, for sure.

I have recently registered, and have found great advice. Long ago I played SC classic, 2K, and 3000, but only just started playing Sim City 4 Deluxe about a month ago. I only use mods that fix bugs or flaws with Maxis (NAM, Opera House fix, and Crimedoesn'tpay), This was done without cheats.

Stage 8 CO$$ and $$$, you will find 2 McClellan Inc., 2 Lucky Lizard Lofts 1, Waco Co. 1 Chong Inc., 1 Calvin's Happy Place Plaza, 1 Khoury Art Foundation and 1 Lillard Audio

This snapshot is from the same city, and features the same Sky Rise Deluxe Condos as seen in the previous pic, so you can tell where this is taken.

Here you can see the same Khoury Art Foundation much clearer, located in the left side (looks like Talin Towers and Frank & Simon Associates combined), as well as a Reamon Plaza, a Trottier Trading, 2 Lillard Audio, and 2 Brock Furnishings.

Very impressive downtown, especially since you used only limited mods and no cheats. I imagine it took a while to evolve into a metropolis.

It's my local time, it's a cheat code, only works if you got the Sim City 4 Extra Cheats dll file (I think)

Kuwai City, the capitol of the Kuwai region and home to 380,000 sims. There should be more skyscrapers but the city is currently facing an age difference crisis. Where most of the sims living here are 50+ years old. Thanks to the Bio Net in the middle of town which bumps up life expectancy to its max. The result is a lot of very old sims and not enough young ones. So the neighboring cities which don't have a Bio Net, and just regular hospitals, are commuting into Kuwai City.

I'm working a little on making realistic CBD's. This is New Downtown Pine Plains, with the old one getting too much traffic and unemployment. New Downtown has high capacity roads and avenues to help with the flow of traffic, and "world town"s including Japan-town and Little Italy. I will expand the city once I handle a tiny bit of unemployment.
