what is that skyscraper on the bottom right of the third picture? I've seen it in several other downtown scenes and wonder what it's called so I can download it (looks WAY too good to be a Maxis building).

Here are some more pictures of my regions largest CBD

An overview. It's located on an island. It spans over 4 large city tiles - I have yet to start developing one of them, as you can see, and the other 3 also aren't completed yet.

This is the Goldrome, the largest stadium in the region. The diagonal building on the left is the Great Pacific Hotel, the largest Hotel like it's name already says. The tower on the top right is the Memorial Needle.

This is the regions ring road (beltway). A part of it runs right through the CBD! You can't see any traffic here because the simulation was paused while taking these pictures, but once it starts...

The tall tower in the middle is the Phen River Observation Tower (or just PRO Tower). It's located on the place where the Phen River (one of the 2 rivers running through the region) splits.

The final pic I'll show is this one. That's the Tomms Bridge. As you can clearly see, this is the bit which isn't done yet (Sorry for the grid, SC4 crashed when I wanted to take this pic without grid...)

Well lets start with pics of my CBD from my CJ, Micronation of Boomerang Island, in times of rain

Population: 3653(50% work for government owned enterprises and businesses, including surimi factories)

Hehe, so you noticed well the thing is the city used to be a huge landfill zone for adjacent cities.

When I started bulding the current city I didn't know how to rename it, then later I guess the name just hasn't been a priority

Interesting how you removed the landfill and made a city on it, alandpatrik! You can, however, rename the city. Use Control + V to open the cheat bar, and

type "Whererufrom (city name)" (without quotations). You can't name your city two sepperate words, e.g. if you want to name your city "High Hills", and type in the cheat bar "Whererufrom High Hills", your city will be named "High".

Also, you can hide the User Interface with either the box near the bottom, or pressing Num Lock, so people don't notice your city named "Hell Hole"

@alandpatrik: LOL! I hope you know how to rename it now. It looks great, definitely NOT a "hellhole."

In case anyone else doesn't know, to rename a city do keyboard combo CTRL-X, then type Whererufrom followed by your new name.

T'is named Hendrenda, and is a city located in my region showcased in my Follomer CJ. I JUST got done demolishing HSR that was in that tile but out of my plugins so it confused the game what it was removing and froze it 15-20 seconds everytime. I laid down the GLR, plopped some buildings and this is what i have so far.
