    hmm, would be cool to have a subway and parking garage version as well.

    is there someone who could mod me those lots (transit enable)?

    this is how it´s gonna look (need some minor changes). The ramp is an individual 1x3 lot, so you can built freely

    That's a good way to fix the problem 4.gif These would indeed make great subway / underground parking lots. They look really nice, especially at night.

    All I can do is make it transit enabled (road connection).

    mmm... this BAT stew smells delicious!

    Is plug-in manager by maxis no longer a viable tool for modding? You can place it into transport -> garage to get the preliminaries sorted out, then work out the details later.

    The nightlight is cool,   

    ..but these entrances are far too unrealistic.

    The two entrances for the cars should need some more textures. Maybe white stripes or something...

    Yeah, if you want to make them transit-enabled, they should ideally line up with street connections as seamlessly as possible. Modding them to be parking garages is no problem at all, I could do that. 2.gif

    These are great! But I must side with people who said that the width of the garage entrances is way over the top. But the biggest problem as I see it is that the color and contrast is very different from the game. So intensely deep and saturated blue shadows stand out too much. Same could also be said about the tower as well, but there affected area is not so large and not so visually important as it gets overpowered by the tower itself. With entrances is is too much in your face...

    You must use some sort of Color-mapper (Exposure control) when you render your bats. Without it the purplish hue of the shadows (particularly on the ground) is too strikingly different to the lots "nextdoor"

    Vegetation is done very nicely. I would like to especially comment you on superb match of hue/saturation of foliage!!!

    PS

    there is one trick that you probably would want to apply. Try to render against neutral gray background., It would help you to control ugly black outline (particularly visible in the foliage)

    If you gonna do only trees then you could set background to the same color as folliage itself - this will insure the best possible look for trees in game.

    thx for ur replies.

    I re-rendered the models with a modified Sun light source (I decreased contrast from 100 to 50  and intensity from 10000 to 7000), the outcome looks much better. Thx SimFox for bringing my attention to this. I will probably rerender Okhta Center as well.

    Also I acted upon the critique and here´s a slimmer ramp, with white stripes in the middle

    Now I just need to hear back from T-Wrecks to confirm the transit lots are working ok and then I can put the lots on the STEX

    Ok folks, time to dust off this thread and start the fires on the stove again!

    RL was quite busy the last years, so I didnt get much chance for this great little hobby here.

    Now times are bit slower, so I can get my hands dirty again in the BAT kitchen, hehe.

    I dug up what I had left unfinished and that is MoMA Extension, NYC, or as it is now rather called simply Tower Verre. Ground on the real building should break some point this year, final building permit was just granted in December.

    The model was created with an older MAX version, so I had to import it, which didnt go that smoothly and a lot of the polygons got weird in the process. But it's acceptable still to work with. I had to do refinments tho.

    I just added the vertical mullions today (unfinished), have a look:

    PS: Before you ask, no updates for Burj Khalifa atm
