Welcome To The Los Angeles City Journal!  I know this a very popular city and my favorite city!  So I decided to build the real true L.A  as accurate as possible!  There are many possibilities with this game and hope you all enjoy my region!

Very nice region view and, coming frpm one who grew up (for a bit) and went to college in the area, very accurate too. Out of curiousity, did you also try to include such things as schools, etc? If so, would you mind showing the area between LAX and Marina del Rey? The harbor looks pretty good, and I wanted to see if my school (Loyola Marymount) was in there. Great job, and keep up the good work.

I think I've seen these pictures before but the CJ disappeared last year. Always nice to see realistic city recreation CJ's.

Very cool. Having just flown over the area (and lived here a long time) it looks pretty dam good.

I can almost see my house here in Long Beach.  Any chance of a close-up view of the my area (and the LA Harbor in general)?

turn of the zots, toolbars, zones, and udriveit icons! the city looks good, but if its accuracy your looking for, you need to work on it a bit more. For example, you have the same maxis tower in downtown LA 4 times! and a major SF tower in your skyline! good luck.

Nice work with the downtown and the palms.

This coming from a guy who lives in the LA area, only the region view looks accurate to me. Aside from the Library Tower, there are few similarities. The LA River doesn't have jagged cliff walls as well--it's more of a concrete spillway (a canal). 

By the way, didn't you post this LA CJ a while back too?

Yes! This is my old region of L.A!  I'm re-posting it because all the old journals seem to have been deleted!  Also I want to learn from this one because, I'm starting to work on a new and more accurate version of L.A!  As you can see this one isn't really drawn to scale that much, its just more of a general view of what L.A looks like!  Thanks for all your feedbackthough this region can be made alot better and have more detail!  Like I said if anyone has any files or buildings thing they think should be added feel free!  I am missing a few buildings such as the Wilshire Building, Getty Center, Watts Towers, MacArthur Park, and other landmarks as well!  I will post my new CJ pictures real soon!

THE EAST LOS ANGELES INTERCHANGE! 

This is definetly a downtown landmark! As you can see its a little more accurate than the first one I did this interchange is very complex!  It has the 101, I-5, I-10, Sr-60 running intersecting!

excellent work! but the downtown can be a lil bit more accurate and realistic,because there are buildings in the stex that do relate to downtown LA.

Wow, nice looking LA; i was down there last weekend and in SD. As it is LA we must see your traffic and the pitiful metro system. Plus id love to see Santa Monica and Venice, plus some of Anaheim would be cool. Of course dont forget Hollywood. Yall still have that 100+ heat down there?
