Heres a new trailer for Sim City Societies on gametrailers.com

http://www.gametrailers.com/player/23092.html

Its very positive for the game... perhaps too positive.  It is creative though, I can give this trailer that.  Its a "freedom trailer" and all its doing is to over hype this game.

What do you think about it?

I really don't think its going to be better then Simcity 4... It's got a bit of a Sims feel to it don't you think?

didn't give me any new information, just seems like overhyped repeating of the same message.

I think she forgot "realistic"... But it really doesen't matter. I stopped caring about SCS a long time ago.

Build my cities any way I want? Do you have railroads, two-way roads, and English? No? Then back on the street!

it clearly is for a different audience as it still is something majority of die hard simcity fans DONT like.

i have no plans on buying that joke of a game

im still hoping that at the end of the day, this is just a sick joke by EA to keep Montecristo clueless as to what EA has under its sleeves...the real SC sequel

its either that or at least EA/TM admit that they designed the game without the Simcity fans on ind but instead designed the game for a completely different audience..

Exactly, or at least release screenshots with things they incorporated that fans have been asking for.

I don't see whats wrong with the game. We can still mod the Hell out of it if it's not up to standards. I also heard that Maxis didn't even work on this game.

An important thing that the creators forgot this time and I would say is the whole point with the game is to let the city grow on its own and stop using ploppables..! I want the "game" or the "city" to deside what buildings that should be placed (where you place RCI)..

QFT (quoted for truth).  Cities Unlimited looks much better so far!  I don't know why there isn't a CU topic here on Simtropolis like Sim City Societies.

The original SimCity 2000 trailer was just as goofy...except it was all true, and SimCity 2000 was a cool game.

Ok, we will leave it up to YOU to mod a whole new "appropriate" game for the sim city series. Luckily you find modding to be simple right... and it will answer all of our questions and make the game great. So glad to hear you are willing to do this for us.

Truthfully though... yes we can mod, unfortunately there are still issues with SC4 that we havn't been able to correct with modding, and it's been 5 years, and that game was built the way fans wanted it. If everyone is just going to scream that modding is the answer to all our issues, then YAY, I will buy the game once I come to this site and see you all have "modded" it to the game we all wanted in the first place. When did it become the fans responsibility to make a good game sequel?

Sim City 4 was built the way fans wanted it, yet it still needed to be "corrected"? Perhaps Sim City Societies really is more like Sim City 4 than most think... 1.gif
