Gorgeous and colorful. I love it. 9.gif And I do so want to see a game between the Naha Suns and the Chunichi Dragons. I am so a Dragons fan. 9.gif

Enjoy the rest of your vacation.

BTW, love the avatar too.  My mother recently bought a Skyline and she's getting ready to buy another.  Although here they're known by the very boring name of "G35."  Meh....

Ok i guess ill start commenting off this page!

Zelgadis: Thanks man! Wow two skylines? Yeah their G35s here too but those arent the GTRs! Pssh Dragons? Goooooo YOMIURI GIANTS! Im from Tokyo, so i gotta go with the home team; although here in SF im for Dodgers hahaha9.gif I'll try to set up games with Naha in the NPB once SLB ends!

Greekman: Thanks, i love your city; wouldnt mind living down there one day perhaps if i get into UCSD, *crosses fingers* Oh yeah also wats with Chula Vista and all those trailer homes that it has? Passed like 5 when i was on the trolley.

Ok now on to the UPDATE!

    BANNER.jpg?t=1185974611

Been a while yeah? I know! Senior year has been very busy!

    OK LETS GO!

Today we leave Naha, and head to Koremi Province a few hours south of Naha. Here the major economy is fishing as the Pacific provides an abundance of fish, shellfish, squid, and octopus. The biggest city in Koremi Province is Koremi City home to about 30,000 people. Outside of the city, are small beach towns and sprawilling farmlands that uses the rich abundant volcanic soil with in the region.

KOREMI CITY: Sitting at the edge of the Province is Koremi City. The city has a main business center and lots of apartments; the city itself is confined in a very small area of land. The Koremi Fishing Port is the center of the Province's fishing exports and the Koremi Fish Markets across the street provide very fresh fish that are sold to lots of resteraunts and to the public. Here the main road, Umi Dori runs right through the city. At the southern part, it seperates the business district from the apartments. Okinawa Expressway passes through the city providing a vital link to Naha and Tomigusuke. Also the NaTo express stops in Koremi City enroute to Tomigusuke from Naha.

An overview of the Southern portion of Koremi City.

UMIMAZU: Down the Pacific Highway lies the town of Umimazu. This beach side community is home to one the most wealthiest communities in Koremi Province. Because of its distance from the big city and excellent fishing waters, many wealthy people got accustomed to the ocean life. Umimazu has one of the largest non-commerical fishing ports.

Well that wraps up this round of updates, tune in next time for Hayatsuka Meadows

REPUBLIC OF RYUKYU WILL BE GOING ON A HIATUS.

Sorry all but this year, i am really busy and i just dont have the time to play SC4 and continue this CJ at the moment. With SATs, college registration, personal statement, APs, maintaining grades, and social life; i just cant continue now, perhaps winter break or something. Thank you for all that has watched this CJ and i hope it returns soon. Until then, Ryukyu will miss you all!15.gif

HELLO ALL! As i have some time off this week, I am able to post some updates. This one is actually one i should have posted a long time ago...

    HAYATSUKA MEADOWS

As the Koremi Province is quite rural, a lot of farms in the area raise horses. Due to the major demand of horseracing, at the edge of Koremi City is Hayatsuka Meadows. This racetrack is the only one in 300 km and is a very wide local tradition. As Koremi City does not yet have a major sports attraction, the locals like to head to the racetrack and place bets. The Hayatsuka hotel, the tallest building in the region, looms across the street from the racetrack.

Hayatsuka Derby, the biggest race of the year!

#6: The local favorite, Kaminari; bet on him and your bound to win!

    1.jpg

    Some heated competition!!

I'll try to get in an update tommorow on Chome (Choh-meh) the biggest suburb of the second biggest city in the nation, TOMIGUSUKE!

    HERES A TEASER!

    chomestation.jpg?t=1195713212

Station reached well over 15,000 cap and is now operating at about 26,000 passengers!

Great horse track! I didn't even know one of those was available on the STEX or somewhere else...

Mom changed her mind. I think she's had enough of her mid-life crisis. 3.gif So I think she's going to buy an Infiniti M45 next (Nissan Cima in Japan?) She still likes the power.

Oh, and the Dragons won the Japan Series, as I'm sure you know. So I just wanted to take this moment to say, "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!" 3.gif

CHUNICHI STINKS!! HANSHIN TIGERS FAN 4 LIFE! GO TIGERS, OSAKA RULZ!

As the immortal Tortoise Matsumoto once said, "Hanshin Tigers yappa kotoshi ha gambatte hoshi yo na!"

Ok, now that I got that out of my system, this is a great-looking cj. Which Cho-me is it? 1 Cho-me? 14 Cho-me? Or just Cho-me? Just asking9.gif

I love to see the Asian content so skillfully presented. It's like I can walk around outside without actually leaving my room (which is good because it's finally getting cold)!

    BANNER.jpg?t=1185974611

Sorry I haven't posted an update in a while. I've built a lot over these few months and when I get a chance, I'll post updates. Today we'll focus on the city of Chome; a twin city of Tomigusuke in Southeast Ryukyu.

    OKINAWAMAP.jpg?t=1198715976

Heres a map to show the cities we have been to so far so you can get an idea of the distances.

Chome (choh-meh) is a city that sprang up rather quickly after Tomigusuke's CBD exploded and the demand for workers increased. Today Chome is home to 140,000 people and is home to the region's university.

Today's shots are at night, and with next update I'll try to show more of the city.

Kawasaki University, one of the nation's finest in education.

Well thats all for now, stay tuned for more in depth updates!

In other news, today Ryukyu's own Kurara Chibana took the crown for Ms. Adrijin in Satchet, USS today.

    060723_miss_final5.jpg

All of Ryukyu rejoices as Ryukyu's most beautiful is now crowned the most beautiful of Adrijin. Ms. Chibana heads to Tokyo in July to enter Ms. Universe competition and hopes to take the crown from this year's Ms. Universe, Riyo Mori of Japan.

Naha hopes to host the next Ms. Adrijin in the upcoming months. Stay tuned!
