    WELCOME TO

    oceanworld.jpg?t=1187811496

To the winner of our contest, we would like to present this plaque:

    AWARD.jpg?t=1187811609

    CONGRATULATIONS!

    Now lets begin our tour!

Ocean World sits at the top of Motegi San; Naha's tallest point.

    Park Hours: 10am - 9pm

Ocean World is a aquarium/ amusement park.

Ocean World is home to the biggest aquarium in Ryukyu. The large walk through aquarium features over 200 different species and holds 8 million gallons of water. Species in the aquarium range from Clownfish found in the coral reefs to fresh water Amazon Pirhanas. Visitors can watch graceful sea turtles swim through the depths and watch the magestic Tuna showing its strenght and its size

    aquariumcopy.jpg?t=1187811910

Next to the Aquarium is the dolphin stage. Come watch these playful creatures perform amazing tricks as conducted by their instructors. The dolphin show is a great relaxing show after long day of coaster rides and if you are really feeling the heat, sit in the front rows and get SPLASHED!

    dolphincopy.jpg?t=1187812046

Are you brave enough? If so then come and check out the Shark Tank, showcasing an array of shark species from the harmless but enourmous Whale Shark to the more aggressive and dangerous Great White Sharks. Remember don't tap the glass or you may encounter a shark face to face!

    sharks.jpg?t=1187812161

Concluding the Aquarium part of Ocean World is the most watched showcase, the Orca Show. Watch these predators of the North act very harmless and perform great feats of tricks. Watch Mei chan the baby Orca do some amazing acrobatics through loops and surf through the water as the trainers ride on their backs. Great fun for the family and there are always HUGE splashes!

Heres the Amusement Park part of Ocean World!

    parkmosaic1.jpg?t=1187813388

    parkmosac2.jpg?t=1187813417

    parkmosaic3.jpg?t=1187813449

    parkmosaic4.jpg?t=1187813486

    parkmosaic5.jpg?t=1187813531

The rest of Ocean World is an exciting Amusement Park home to seven coasters and many other attractions! The young people of Naha frequently visit Ocean World for its extremely fast and tall coasters.

At the top of the mosaic, the blue coaster is the Boomerang. This coaster shoots out goes through the loops and then stops at the end and goes in reverse. The wooden coaster, the roaring Grizzly is a favorite at Ocean World. As you ride you will feel many joltz and the hear the roar of the coaster as you hit sharp turns and dips! The little green coaster is the Kiddy Twist, a coaster only for small kids to offer them joy as they are too short to ride the big coasters. And the yellow coaster is called the Typhoon, with all the long loops and speed, it makes you feel as if you were in a typhoon!

Shown here is coaster alley, the part of the park where three of the coasters stand within the vicinity of each other. The one at the top of the pictures is the Viper, a large steel rollercoaster showcasing lots of loops and has a top vertical height of 60m. The orange coaster is known as the Komodo Dragon, this is a moderately fast coaster and has many loops so those weak at the stomach should not ride. At the bottom of the picture is the smaller Cobra coaster. This is a coaster with only a vertical height of 20m and the speed is relatively slow. It is the most leisurely coaster at Ocean World.

    coasteralley.jpg?t=1187813665

    ferriswheel.jpg?t=1187814926

Ahh, the ferris wheel with the beautiful glow and the incredible view from above, its the perfect spot to take a date!

    funstands.jpg?t=1187815057

After taking her up in that ferris wheel, why not win her a nice teddy bear to remember the night at one of the Fun Stands located throughout the park! Think your a pro at the toss, then try out the NFL stand!

    parkoverview.jpg?t=1187815141

Ocean World at night from above, looks really peaceful if you are not afraid of heights why not take a crack at Drop Zone, the freefalling tower!

    But before we leave,

    I just need to know...............

    wholettheanimalsout.jpg?t=1187815223

WHO LET THE ANIMALS OUT!!! (cue parody of Who Let the Dogs Out)

Oh and i felt nice so heres a little tease!

Impressive work on the theme part but the sea-side community in the teaser pic looks amazing as well. Good work on the the transition from land to sea without the beach.

I was redoing a district in Naha just south of the downtown; had to blow it up because it kept crashing. As i lay down the transportation infastructures i noticed a lot of cars appear! The commuters of Naha, making their way to the downtown by car or train. I noticed there are actually a lot of commuters so i wanted to share some images.

Again, this city tile is just transportation infastructre laid down. I dont consider this a real update but more of just for fun. I'll try to get one in later today when i wake up... as it is the final day of the summer and senior year begins the next day!

It looks like you put a lot of effort into making this CJ. The seal and the flag are impressive as well as the back story. The night lights are very colorful. Ocean World looks like fun.

You have a good eye for laying out the buildings and roads.

I would smooth out those roads in the last update. Maybe the bumps are what are causing the extra traffic. :-)

    Keep up the good work.

    -Dan

    I am happy. Are you?

nice layout, but may I suggest one thing?

Instead of having the rail go above the highway, have the highway go above the rail

hmm...roads, rail and highway seem bumpy, so I suggest getting a slop mod. Thats a lot of commuters.
