I'd just like to add that any spoilers should be posted in white, and with a warning preceding them. Many people would like to find out the ending on their own, and don't want know beforehand. Thanks for your cooperation.

I wish I understood the hype over this series. I read one of the books, and have seen a few of the movies, but I never found anything special in it. But then I think most modern writing is poor, so Rowling just fits the mold.

I got it!

My sister and I went to Krogers. They had a limited number of copies to sell at midnight. There was a small crowd and they had only 3 books left when everyone had finished going to the display, however, I wouldnt be surprised if there were some in the back so there wasnt a big rush. Either way may not have been necessary to go at night, but certainly it was an experience to go at 12:01 and be with the rest of the harry potter geeks to get the very last book

Haven't read any the books. I simply read the plot on websites and decide whether or not I want to see the movies. I have, in fact, read the entire plot ... including the ending of the one just released.

For me there were a couple of little suprises stayed up til 5:30 in the morning reading.

I think thi is the best of the boks in the series I read just hope they dont mangle it too much in the movie.

There are quite a few things left unsaid and there is always the immediate aftermath and I have a feeling that the batlle at the end was just the begining of something bigger.

maybe she'll get to that wizard encyclopedia she said she wanted to write. it would be interesting if she wrote more of textbooks, such as hogwarts, a history, in real life.
