Simtropolis Mall

Simtropolis Mall is a first for Simtropolis. I am arranging for a new megamall to come into town...There is about 25 Regular Store spaces left, 3 fast food spaces left and no more anchor spaces left.

Anchors can be a real world department store, grocery store, or big box store. It has to be real, still existant, and you must indicate where it comes from.

Small stores can also be accepted. These include GameStop, Bath & Body Works, Gap, so on. If you want to open a store of your own creation, say, "LivingInThePast's Soda City", you must indicate your store.

Restaurants are also fine, but they take up 3 regular store spaces. Likewise, you have to indicate it even if it is real world.

Finally, we have things we have already signed up. The mall is not open yet.

By the way, if you people are wondering, I developed an interest in retail history after collecting mall directories and visiting things like Labelscar and DeadMalls. Once we're open, you can shop here. Or just hang out with your friends and loiter at the first and only mall at Simtropolis!

Ok, I'd like to lease one of the anchors for a major weapons and ammunition armory. We specialize in armored vehicles, artillery pieces, automatic weapons, guided missiles, and other weapons. Oh and of course, we must have space for a full service firing range. Demographic research shows that there is a market for such products in the area, and there are no such stores open yet. The insurance policy has already been secured, in fact.

I would like it. Bring a bit of Britain to Simtropolis Mall. Basically it's like a cross between a supermarket and a department store. Usually there is a large food court which sells high quality food such as sandwiches, salads, frozen food and ready meals. It tends to be quite expensive but very nice. Then there is a clothing section which is quite expensive but again good quality. There have been efforts to modernise the store recently which have been incredibly succesful.

In addition M&S also sells homeware, furniture and other services such as banking, currency exchange, holidays and loans. But usually in it's larger out-of-town stores as opposed to those in town.

It could be an anchor store or maybe take up two stores on two floors so that the food is on the ground floor and then you have to go upstairs to get to the clothing and homeware.

Sure, I'd like Jamba Juice and if possible lease an anchor for KnollMart which is somewhat a supertarget but sells technology and weapons and other junk Otherwise just JJ and an office (public) for Nottingham Architectural Studios.

How about taking 3-4 store slots and making a mini-anchor. I say either Best Buy or CompUSA should fill it.

Also, put in a Pac-Sun.

Oh, and in the food court, put in a Popeye's.
