Your Union Square is not quite correct..Sorrento should be facing 180 degrees opposite, the ICC should be next to the Harbourside. Overall its great!

Okay, problems solved now!

Here's an Image of a small port on the other side of Kowloon (This area is called Hong Hom and is on the other side of the peninsular). All the towers of this area look very similar to some of Bixel's Hong Kong Residential towers (The 4x4 ones).

And here's the first proper Mosaic of this CJ! It shows the whole lower part of the Kowloon Peninsular and a bit of Hong Kong Island.

Here's the area on Hong Kong Island down past the Central Plaza. You can see Happy Valley in the background, another of Hong Kong's world famous landmarks. All gambling in Hong Kong is illegal except for Horse Racing so thousands gather here every week to gamble millions of dollars on horse racing! No body has BAT'd Happy Valley or even a 'good' horse racing track so my version is kinda off (I just used what ever buildings I had) but it has the basics like the sports fields in the middle.

And here's a close up. Huge apartment towers surround the course on either side.

Well done! You've done an excellent job of capturing the essence of the Hong Kong area (from what I've seen in photos, anyway).

One thing I really like is how you've used those airport lots - I hadn't thought of using them like that - but it looks really good!

A 3D map of Hong Kong... I've decided that with this new tool I'm going to try and make this CJ realistic down to the single building. No more stupid bulrred Google Earth! It takes a while to load but It's worth it for anyone who is interested in seeing a proper Hong Kong map. Next update will be of the fixed Union Square (The Harbour Side, The Arch, The ICC3 Construction ect.) If only SCS could look like this but with better road and water textures.

indeed, that software is great! the hong kong pictures in google earth were very hard to see, this map allows you to see the roads easily, and where the buildings go, it was a very good find! i just wanted to say that i'm lurking, and that last shot of the harbour left me speechless, the similarities are just mindblowing, you did an excellent job! you should check out in joining the motherearth team, you'll make a great addition! i'll be paying close attention to this journal, and it's really inspiring me to go back and fix up my hong kong! you have a great talent, and i'm sure the HKBAT team is happy that a journal recreating such a wonderful city has been created! your photoshopping is also something to be proud of i am greatly looking forward to the next update of your improvements, however, i don't think your hong kong can be improved much more, to me it looks perfect! one thing i was wondering, will you be recreating the entire hong kong territory or kowloon and the areas around central? will you also be doing those crazy hong kong airports? geez, this comment is getting long, sorry about that, i'll cut it here, but keep on keeping on! =DD

After realizing that my Union Square Complex was totally wrong I've decided to do it again according to the 3D Hong Kong Map. Here are the results.

First up we've got a side on mosaic of the Arch, The Harbor Side and the ICC3 tower construction site (It will probably be at this stage of construction in 2008, it's actually currently smaller than The Harborside.)

The actual complex looking off toward the Jordan and Mong Kok areas.

The complex can look really beautiful at night, can't wait for the new Harbourside tower to come out!

And some of the Complex's surrounding gardens.

The next update will be of the Mong Kok and Jordan Area's which are some of the most densely populated areas in the world today. That bloody commute time thing is gonna be a bit of an issue on this one Anyway here's the teaser picture for that area.
