Just been working with mental ray arch materials. The roof is a bit boring and I think the white blades are too bright. But heres a little chunk of Birmimgham in development.

Sorted the Random Cladding, darkenned the fins and added some stuff on the Terrace. It is also worth noting that I have redone the texture on the roof to fit the roof exactly.

Next job is to sort out that entranceway, as thanks to the large overhang, you cant see any of the entranceway.

This is my near-to-finished model, pending for export. But right now I'm iffy on the window textures. But other than that, its ready.

Ill PM you a better window texture. it is a little bright at the moment but its a good start for a beginner. One thing with the B.A.T. lighting setup is it always makes a material brighter than it actually is.

Ill PM you some more tips.

Wow, thanks Silur. Don't worry about the English, at least you're understandable.

If you have any more you'd like to share just put them in my BAT thread and i'll try and get some done 44.gif

El Burro: Its is based of Tempelhof Airport, in Berlin. However, I doubt I will be making the whole thing, so it could become anything yet. If I finish it at all, that is, I have terrible habit of leaving stuff half finished. 3.gif

Something I stole from Burro's bat thread, which silur posted. 3.gif

So can I just say that I love this thread? Cause I really do. It's a plethora of pleasing pictures and pixels.

Well, no. The design is very similar, though, so I can see the connection. The LA Coliseum is one of many across the country catering to Football Factory Schools. Others include The Big House, Touchdown Jesus, Yale and Harvard.

Some others have been built upon the lower bowl areas to increase sightlines, capacity and luxury boxes. Some like Beaver Stadium and probably the one this most resembles, Death Valley.

But no, I am modeling Cazibahar University Stadium circa 1985. Although, as of right now it resembles the stadium pre-1985 as before then there would have been no press box....

And I appreciate the enthusiasm towards my photos, I really do, but I don't think they actually show anything. Just some concrete, a field and some seats. Now, I must admit, I'm really happy with the field, but a field does not make a stadium. Some Z5 shots of the East-Stands-That-Should-Actually-Be-The-West-Stands-But-I-Lost-My-Sense-Of-Direction,

Apparently the post doesn't like two picture links together. It treats them as one link. Weird.

Hmmm, maybe I'll dust off the old Bat Thread with some questions....

...but I think it has disappeared, lol.
