@korver Wow  , That is one very busy place there in that image  . Looks like something the Oil Tycoons would love to see everywhere .

I thought about this, and am still thinking about it because though I've thought about this, I still have more thinking to do as to stop thinking about it would mean not to think.

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." - Frank Zappa

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides

An old picture from 2014, when I was new to highway building, I felt kinda proud seeing rush hour traffic on my Interchanges!

One of my favorite "traffic" jam pics I made during 2016 (not shown yet in a show us thread) - waiting for a couple of gators to move out of the way on the Transpantaneira in Brazil.

More South American scenes available in my "South America + Bonus Pictures" update here.

Two more congested urban scenes that I never got around to sharing here. Taken from my last update of 2016, rest available here.

WOW! You never cease to amaze everyone here. Is this 'real' traffic or are these custom LOTs with static (not moving) cars on top of road textures?

@Hellken Thanks *:) For scenes like those, they have to be static lots, I don't think it would even be possible to have functional roads like that. So every car and person is plopped by hand and every texture is created from scratch.

Left the simulation to run wild while I was doing other stuff. Well lo and behold, a gridlock.

This photo is eerily similar to the traffic situation in the town I work in! Except there's only one conventional rail line, which I would take if they sent Amtrak there more!
