the highway might not be in a good spot. When I create highways I always end them at other highways or an avenue. I thing you should (assuming the highway and avenue are parellel) extend the highway and turn it to the avenue. Like a realworld bypass. It will branch from the road and reconnect itself.

I need someone to help mee figure out how to create a region bigger than the ones the game gives you. I want to add more cities to it.

This picture is a picture of Martin Avenue and Hamilton Blvd. Martin is the avenue in the center of the picture with the backup. Martin Av. goes into Downtown so this is our late rush hour traffic. Most of the traffic takes the new bypass but this still gets a bit of traffic. Enough! Well the traffic is stopped at Derek Avenue (the one way street).
