Nice interchange, those blockade girders are great minor details. Too bad the curved roads beside the farms don't have any textures, they'd look perfect with them. But you can't have everything, right? 3.gif Keep up the sensational work!

Hopefully you can give great updates like this more often beebs. That intersection looks very interesting, the special curved road intersection peices are amazing, I have no idea how you got those. The farms look very unique, although they do have a few jagged edges. The suburban housing is great aswell. Nicely done.

    Iit's update time! 9.gif

Edit: I see I made a mistake in a picture. 4 duckies to the one who discovers it.

    roadmap1.jpg

Road map! Now you can see whats what in Red River. 2.gif

    pond1.jpg

Simply a pond beside a highway. Thought it was cute. 3.gif

    pond2.jpg

    And another pond!

    rail-highway.jpg

Here's where the rail crosses over Highway 1. I think I might have to improve this a little bit still..

    curvinghighway.jpg

And this I thought was a pretty nice shot of Hwy. 1 curving around. I like it, anyways. 3.gif

Short but sweet... that's all, folks! Next time should be a big 'un! 9.gif

    jacqulina: Thanks, jacky! 9.gif

    vivydu29: Thank you!

bbfan02: Thanks! Hope you enjoy my road map. 2.gif

    pilotdaryl: Hehe, thank you!

    manticorefan: Thanks!

zelgadis: Size matters when talking highways. 4.gif

Godzillaman: Hehe, they're the BSC farms I think.. they might be on SC4Devotion only now.

    sEAhAwk fAn121: Thanks, hawkster!

    KingTitan: LOL thanks!

DragonAnime: Thanks! Glad you enjoy. 9.gif

WillG_75: Honestly couldn't tell you what exactly their names are, or where exactly there from, but there's only 2 places I ever download: the STEX or SC4D. Doesn't narrow it down much, but it cancels out all those other exchanges. 2.gif Try posting that in the STEX forum, there's a topic there to post if you can't find a particular something.

sixers33: Thank yas.. and thanks to your friend! Realism is what I strive for! 9.gif

    gabry85: Thanks!

haljackey: Thanks, dude! Glad to see I meet your interchange standards! 3.gif

ilikehotdogsalot: Too hard now. 4.gif Thanks!

    Mikeaut1: Thanks, Mikey! 9.gif

ky72x: Thanks! And they would have "textures", I was just too lazy to Photoshop them in. 3.gif

crazyyaya: Hopefully this update satisfies you. The curved road pieces are in the NAM, I highly suggest you download it. 2.gif Thanks!

yeppee! another update 9.gif i completely envy your ability to use RHW without it looking like crap. everything looks great as usual except for that rail crossing. those cliffs are a bit too steep hehe. dont matter though, the good outweighs the bad about 100 000 to 1 2.gif keep up the awsome work my friend!

40.gifYou've put the one RHW curve puzzle piece the wrong way40.gif

And it looks like they're crossing each other? But still, nice to see that there are more that appreciates the RHW-2--a huge improvment!

Looking great Alex, I love the RHW once again.  You do the mod so much justice.  The pictures you have posted remind me of vacation.  I just hate that it's so far away- why can't it be summer yet? 3.gif

I like your use of RHW and MIS. I've been reluctant to use it, since it doesn't show up on transportation map in region view, but that may be a moot point if I never put up a map on my city journal. I guess I just haven't gotten my hands wet enough with it, but your journal is one of a few that are really pushing me towards actually using these downloads!

Whoa!  Nice curvy highways used there!  Excellently done!

For your rail-over-RHW picture, you said you might want to improve it.  Your current method will not enable you to use UDI on the RHW and looks weird with the texture lineups.

-One way I see you can improve this is to use the new rail overpass puzzle pieces that now work for the RHW network. You build it just as you would a standard overpass, but the overpass puzzle pieces are now found in the RHW menu.

Anyways, I hope it helps!  I like your ponds too, they are very well done!

    Best,

    -Haljackey

Iiits update time! Here's part one of our update..

    gatewaycommon2.jpg

Here's a commercial area on the edge town that I've been meaning to show off for a while now.. it's called Gateway Common.

    gatewaycommon3.jpg

Basically it's just your large, retail suburban development.

    gatewaycommon4.jpg

Not really meant for pedestrian traffic, it's geared for the drivers. Lots of parking, little bussing or that.

    gatewaycommon1.jpg

    And finally, just an overview.

    mountainside.jpg

And I just thought this shot was neat. 2.gif

    redriverupdate.jpg

Welcome to Part 2 of our update today! 9.gif

    newrail.jpg

I took your advice, Haljackey... and I was not disappointed. 2.gif Looks good, I think!

    farming.jpg

Since I've shown so few farms from inside the city tiles, I figured I'd spoil ya here. 3.gif

    whitefishbayupdate.jpg

And Part 3! Welcome to Whitefish Bay, Ontario!

    canadamapsmall.jpg

Click the map for a larger image!

    parkteaser.jpg

And just a teaser for you. 2.gif Full update on Whitefish Bay next time!

And that's all, folks! 9.gif Hope this update satisfies!

    capvalcomments.jpg
Note: I will have a spiffy new Comments banner for these multi-city updates. Worry not! 3.gif

sEAhAwk fAn121: Thanks, hawkster! Hopefully my adjustments to the overpass is to your liking. 3.gif

    toki.s: Hehe, thank you! 9.gif

    cleaner475: Thanks!

    granto93: Thank ya!

GingerBlokey: Yep.. can't live without 'em!

    bbfan02: Thank you!

Very nice. I like the new over pass and the park. Even though that brown spot in the park worries me abit.

You took my advice??? That's crazy!

Oh well.  I think it looks much better than it did before, and now you can use UDI as well if you ever want to cruise on your RHW!

One more thing about the image that caught my eye:

    The image

Your RHW curve is backwards!  The southbound RHW will not function unless you have it lined up in the right direction.  Remember to match up the white and yellow lines and that the shoulder is on the right.

Whitefish Bay looks and sounds cool too!  I can't wait to see some more pictures!

    Best,

    -Haljackey

Ontario?  Well I'm quite a bit disappointed. 3.gif  Nice work on those commercial areas, btw! 44.gif

And if you are able to, can you show us an airport?  Midwest Connect is looking for some new destinations. 2.gif

And why are there palm trees in the middle of that parking lot? 3.gif  You should check the STEX for swamper77's No Palms mod.  It will replace those annoying tropical trees with proper deciduous trees.
