Thank you guys for your comments! 9.gif

sEAhAwk fAn121 - I have a lot of SOMY coming up in Coram, and I used some ports of his in my huge port area that was erased! But I'm rebuilding and I'm going to experiment with SOMY.

MsD - I'm agreeing with you now, the look of it just isn't right. I might just stick to regular highways, but elevated so it's easier to transport around.

Thanks guys for the feedback! Hopefully I can update tomorrow night or Fri?

    Subway Lines in Coram-Medford

I've been working on the new region!! I've already laid subways lines... I'm working on the transportation in the inner city; tunnels, bridges, subways, railroads, highways. Pictures will come soon, but here is a picture of the subway lines I put down!!

    Subway-1.jpg

    Notice the new terrain!!

Also there are new city names.

Later as I develop land here, I'll have a big subway map (as realistic as possible with colored lines and all that jazz.  3.gif)

    Comments appreciated! 4.gif

Your road network planning looks good. I've started doing the same thing with roads as I build a city.

Ahh... good to hear that everything is back up and running again!

Whoa, that's quite a downtown you have there. I like it! Everything just turns out so much better when you layout all of the transportation networks prior to development, I guess. Keep up the excellent work, and I can't wait for more!

    CoramMedford-1187094360.jpg

Here is a new updated map. There are some new names!! And different terrain (slightly).

In case you're wondering, all those little dots near Coram/Medford are subway stations. 3.gif There will be 103 subway stations in this region, and they are already being heavily used in the city! 9.gif

    Thanks for all the comments!!

ky72x - Sure does help! 4.gif Thanks for the comment!!

suplado! - Indeed, thanks for the comment!

penguin007 - Thanks, hope you come back for the port, I think its good! 4.gif

    Voulpiotis - Wow, thanks! 4.gif

Schulmanator - Haha, thanks Schul! 3.gif

    toxicpiano - Thanks! 4.gif

Godzillaman - Thanks, it took me around 30 minutes. 3.gif For the park I'm using one of Jeronij's downloads. I think its on SC4 Devotion. Actually, that isn't even a park, its a central rail station. 4.gif

cleaner475 - Thanks, Cleaner!  Hope to see you soon! 9.gif

You've always had a knack for making big tropical cities. They remind me somewhat of places like Rio and Brasilia. Love the beaches and lush green parks. That says you're building a city with a bad reputation, so it's trying to make itself look clean and polished. Yep, that's it.
