Roughly 50 years later, in the 1920’s, the town needed a larger courthouse so the original courthouse was renovated and served as the new Mayors Mansion. Historic January Bay compared to present day January Bay... The Fire Brigade In the Spring of 1870, the January Bay town council voted to begin construction of the first fire station in January Bay... Another picture of the old fire station... The town council unanimously elected Alzheimer "Al" McMann to serve as the first Captain of the newly constructed fire station... The first fire truck and fire brigade of January Bay... Progress (1869 - 1879) Since the territory first began almost 50 years ago, January Bay has continued to blossom with farming, ranching and commerce. The town now includes churches, a school, law enforcement, a courthouse and a firehouse. This is a great accomplishment considering that starting in 1822, Moses McMann was the sole original land owner of the January Bay territory and he was a vital part of helping January Bay become a a thriving township. He began with only a small piece of farm land but wisely bought and resold the majority of the land within the January Bay territory. A growing town… but not yet a city... The Father of January Bay Moses McMann died on November 24, 1870 (Born 1794… aged 76 years Moses McMann will always be remembered as the father of January Bay. Upon the announcement of his death, and in his honor, the flags at his ranch house and at the courthouse were flown at half staff in memory of this heroic figure who forged the foundations of this small, yet prospering territory. Rest In Peace Moses McMann was buried in the small cemetery just outside of town. Nearby you can see the Undertaker's office and the old cemetery Church... Here is a present day image of the January Bay cemetery... now known as McMann Cemetery. As you can see, the old church is abandoned but is still standing in the woods next to the cemetery... The abandoned old church still stands hidden in the woods near the cemetery... Outside the gates of the cemetery is a statue of Moses McMann. It is a historic landmark and a popular attraction to both residents and visitors alike... The Ghost of Moses McMann For over one hundered years, residents of January Bay swear that they have seen Moses McMann's ghost on several occasions. Many people believe that he still watches over all the land that was once his own... I hope you enjoyed the latest update. Thanks, Cowboy[Texas]

You region looks awesome. Great work on all the cities and the layouts! -
This is a very good CJ and excellent pics. All of them look so realistic because of how much attention you paid to the details. Excellent.
-
Well you did a great job on the city.. it was really looking good. Ill be waiting to see your next great creation when it arrives.

No truce for me.. you Cosmopolitan and Glamour reading sissys (joking). I just haven't had time to respond to latest chatter as Andrea and I have been trying to keep a low profile. Lets face it, if Andrea wanted more "girlfriends" to bake cookies with, she could find them at her office. It appears she's only interested in real men like me.... men that actually grow facial hair and that can buy wine at dinner... not chocolate milk.

Ok.. now Simfan has resorted to using a foreign language. Things are getting rough around here now.... My latest text message from Andrea.... "Vaquero, le amo... de Andrea"

Ahh... so thats how we're gonna roll.... huh cowcorn ? Well ok then. Maybe you'll be interested to know about the little voice mail that Andrea left on my machine.... Note: @ cowcorn... awesome find on the pic you posted. Nice job... lol.

Sorry cowcorn... she's with me now... so back off. You can read all about it in the Movia tabloids.
