Very interesting start. I like your story board and pictures. Your region is quite impressive plus your resources and data are very realistic.

Nice start! But... correct me if I'm wrong... but it seems that your region is full! There's nothing left to do!

Read the instructions: "Tell the story of your city, from rural farmland to sprawling metropolis."

    Shame...

Lower Fairland - Downtown Fairland - The Lip

    Map of Downtown Fairland

    Welcome to Downtown Fairland!

    lowerfairlandjun5131170bs8.jpg

    lowerfairlandjun1313117sx7.jpg

Downtown Fairland is home to many businesses and skyscrapers. It is a major economical center, and a center of commerce.

    lowerfairlandmay3013117dr8.jpg

One of the many great aspects to Fairland is the Perimeter Walk that outlines the whole island Downtown is situated on. The 360º walk is approximately 6 miles around, and every 6 months, the Fairland Cancer Run is an occurance which sees more than 1,000 people running around the Perimeter Walk to raise money for cancer research.

Next update: City Hall Park, Fairland Park, The Coves, Central Avenue

I love that update-table: "Below" with no links. Hah hah, can't stop laughing, it is too good and rude. No offense, I like that very much. And oh, I like your skyscraper-forest also but regional view is not so good.

    49.gifUpdate Four

City Hall Park and Central Avenue

    Map of Downtown Fairland

Today we will be looking at Central Avenue and City Hall Park!

    lowerfairlandjun2613117ku9.jpg

    Central Avenue

Central Avenue is a main artery in the downtown neighborhood. Its divided by a parkspace and offers space for driving. It is heavily used both in the morning and evening commute. Many of Fairland's large office buildings obscure birds-eye views of Central Avenue, but on the street itself it is a great thoroughfare to travel on.

    lowerfairlandjul1713117os2.jpg

    Central Avenue

This picture shows some of the commercial highrises located on Central Avenue. In open spots the divider is spotted. The Fairland Embassay Suites is located right in the heart of the Central Avenue neighborhood.

    Fairland Square

Fairland Square is located at the intersection of Central and City Avenues. A 30 foot high statue of William Seagram is located at the center of Fairland Square. The square is known for its complicated driving during rush hour, but also as a historical spot in downtown.

Birds Eye of Tessinger Arena, Verne Bridge, and Fairland River.

    lowerfairlandoct2713117hv5.jpg

    City Hall Park

Located at the southernmost point of Fairland Island, City Hall Park is home to the elaborate City Hall and the Liberty Tower. City Hall is a large and notable building that could be seen excellently from the Fairland Bridge. Its intricate design is very artistic.

    lowerfairlandjul2613117ug7.jpg

    lowerfairlandjul3113117gc7.jpg

    lowerfairlandsep9131170co0.jpg

    Liberty Tower

Liberty Tower is the tallest building in Fairland. Offering jobs to 10,000 people, Liberty Tower dominates City Hall Park and The Lip for that matter. The tower is opposite City Hall on West Avenue and lies right along the loop of the Perimeter Walk near the South Harbor.

    lowerfairlandsep1613117uc4.jpg

    Traffic Report!

There is currently heavy traffic on the inbound Fairland Bridge. There are several delays on Gladdon Avenue at West through Main Avenues. If you are looking to move uptown, consider taking the Verne or Nolan Bridges.
