It still pretty much amazes me that I am in the top ten all time posters on a site that has been in existence since 2003... and has thousands and thousands of members over the years. It is not like I set that as a goal or anything... I just arrived in a great online community nearly 4 years ago and well... started making a few posts... while I am aware when I pass a certain milestone, that definitely not what drives me to post.

What does? I have met a great bunch of people that I feel comfortable with... and along the way I have made some really great friends, that I have now also had the opportunity to meet some of as well.

@ abcvs: I feel the same way, I've met people here that i even sometimes feel closer to then my real life friends, its really easy to, really get into a topic on the forum and just post, it doesn't even feel like I've made 7,000+ posts, i guess its just that i enjoy having contributing to the site, wether its helping someone in the forums to find something or helping everyone make it to 10,000 posts.

I'd like to take a moment to second the above two comments, just with a more recent join date and smaller amount of posts...but on that topic, that small amount of posts just hit 2,600.

It also seems my second milestone with the same avatar...(as I noticed via personal records...I'm too lazy to post a screenshot/don't think anyone really cares)

I'm surprised to find myself in the top 100 posters. Kinda for the same reason as Craig. This site has been around for a bit and I still consider myself a new arrival compared to all you long-timers.
