Love how you've transitioned the river in to the actual water .. wow!

Awesome details and something I've be able to draw inspiration from.

City_Master - Thank you very much I also am going to add in walking trails in the trees since I think they are a little thick and lacking. With some trails running through and connections to the neighborhoods I think it will look real nice. Thank you for the kind words!!

vivapanda - Thank you! I actually plan all of my buildings and zones around network layouts, they are my passion!

sim_link - Thank you! I plan to phase out the 45 degree angles in my freeways and incorporate a ton more curved angles for added realism! Stay tuned to see how it turns out!!

Fox - Thank you for stopping by Fox!! A long time enthusiaist of your CJ's I appreciate the kind words! I plan to go through and revise that transition a little bit and add in some more diverse flora I have recently downloaded!! Thanks again stop in soon!!

    SO... A little Update...

Since I have come back some new and exciting textures have surfaced. I have now installed the Appalachain Terrain Mod which looks ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! I also downlaoded the starter pack that is recommended with it and love how it works together. In the future I may revise and add in a different rock mod but for not I think it works great.

Some pics of areas that will be developed soon!

A current region shot of a very small region in the making. 4 Medium tiles to be exact have development right now. It's a slow and steady process but I love every bit!!

    Awesome regional picture ..

Love the details like the coal pilings and the use of the NOB water treatment facility.

The layout and the way you've used it all seems very natural.

Love the water front areas like the ports and the tree lined beaches .. all awesome work.

City_Master - Yes it does take quite a bit of time to put everything in hehe but I am just so pleased with the result! And if you are referring to the plop water I use Jeronij's Transparent Plopable Water. Thanks for stopping by look forward to seeing you again soon!!

vivapanda - Thankl you very much! I'm quite pleased with how this region is developing, one of the main reasons I haven't scrapped it yet because I get bored so easily!

New update coming in a few days gonna work on a couple new areas!!

    Thanks for visiting everyone!

Fox - Thank you very much!! I am quite happy with the diversity of the flora now, it's something that I have always not been able to nail quite right. Working on a coastal area now trying to nail the flora for the hills in this update!! Stay tuned!

SimCoug - Sooo time intensive but soo worth it!! New SorGun continues to be my main inspiration for working with flora your work is amazing thanks for stopping in!!

sim_link - Thank you very much!! A lot of time and patience goes into the small things!

Simul8ter8 - Welcome and thank you for your kind words!! I'm glad you like the work I have done here. My main inspiration for city building is a member here named Aleking. For the most part though I just think about an area for awhile then when I have a few ideas I get to building and I glance at other CJ's for inspiration in whatever area I'm working in. Hope you enjoy the next updates!!

Benedict - Thank you Kind sir a ton of work went into making that beast. I made the mistake of constructing it when half the tile was already done and the rain tool managed to seriously mess somethings up on my coastline. All fixed though and I am quite pleased!! Come back soon!!!

    Mini Update Time

This is the area that I am currently working in. Its a coastal tile that I'm looking to do cliffs and flora intensive coastlines. It will be heavy suburbs since it is the tile directly to the west of the Downtown. I apologize for it being incomplete but I am quite a busy person and this is a slow process. It will give a good insight as to how the area develops!!

Enjoy everyone thank you so much for all your support!!

Thank you everyone here is just a small region pic before the next update! Ignore the blurred out tile it will be redone and I am currently working in the left-most tile!! Enjoy new update coming soon!!

    OLDSCHOOL072912.jpg

EDIT: I happen to have a question hoping someone out there can help me out. If you notice the downtown tile and seaport tile to the right they are raised slightly. This happens when I open a city play a little bit then save again they seem to just go up and down rather randomly. I thought I was originally because the sides of tile didn't line up but I haven't done any development on the edges to mess it up. Anyways was wondering if anyone knows of an easy fix or why it does that because it really makes it clear where the city tiles are which I despise!!!!!!

Thanks again everyone enjoy your days!

Regarding your visual glitch - I think it might have something to do with your video resolution settings. I remember seeing a thread a while back with a similar question. Although, upon closer inspection, it looks like those water tiles at the very bottom are not lining up with the seafloor of your developed tiles. If you open up the sea tiles and terraform the sea floor so they match, it may solve the problem.
