    Alberta Legislative Building
This is the 5th draft at this complex detailed area. I will again redo aspects of it but as the region grows I will add to this area making it more accurate. Edmonton is the Capital of Alberta and home of our King - Ralph Klien.

    City of Edmonton Dec 14
-The region cracked 200,000 with alot of developement in housing around Glengary (Edmonton North Side).
-I also made the Hub mall at the UofA, but that is it for that area for now so an update could take some time for teh University.
-I re-did the LRT bridge to be rail to subway...not Elevated rail as it was.
-The Legislative building area has been revamped as you can see on the previous update. What you don't see is the sarounding buildings I have added since then.
-And in south west Edmonton I have expanded alot of roads and added some farms and housing to the area which is always a challenge due to its curvy roads and so on.

Just some of the work done on the region today.

    City of Edmonton Dec 15th

The population has been pushed up to 214,000 with work in the Northmount area (Rosslyn,Dickensfield,Evansdale,Glengary,Killarney)
The area is past 30,000 now and is mostly housing. In the real Edmonton this is a very level midwealth area and is somewhat the west side of the area I grew up in (Delwood/Londonderry).

This area is still under alot of work. One reason why I haven't shown many up close pictures is I always feel they can be improved so I try to hold off until satisfied. These barely made the cut but I felt the CJ needed an update. I hope some people know this area and can comment on it. This is one area of the city I know very well so in just one day I was abole to throw in 30,000 people pretty accuratly. Now just to remember every store along 97th Street. For now its just mixed commercial and doesn't look right.

    More to come, any request.

Also Flamesrock....you asked when this will be done....Well....never but it should look complete within a year I'm hoping...18 months maybe? Its 18 months or something like that at the moment.

Hi Jersey, I've talked to you in the chat room...So anyways, I'm simply impressed by your initiative to re-create Edmonton. I love the city, and I can't wait until you continue to expand to include the other main attractions I've seen in Edmonton while I was there. So, I guess I've got quite a bit of reading to do...I'll continue to post comments as I read your CJ and you can continue to add to this amazing city. Keep up the good work!43.gif

I have probably already asked this but, when you are done, will this be up for download? Will it come with all the buildings and stuff? 100% complete?

brtlrt : I don't know when this will be finished as a hole just for the fact that I will always revise areas to be better. But like the blank map I'm sure I'll release it when its satisfactory along with all buildings mods and lots I use. For anyone who would want to play the region then they could bundle there pluggins to take out when playing Edmonton and just put the ones I use in place so there aren't any issues. I use certain lots and mods when playing different regions. You simply remove and add the pluggins you need pending on what region you are about to play. But for Edmonton there would be a large file just for pluggins. All in time

Just a small ravine in the far southwest area of the region. I was building up the farms and thaught this would an ok picture for the CJ. Work on the region has been a little slow of late. Busy at work and with my family. No time to be a lazy ass of late. I have 7 of 9 days off over the holidays...I may have a good update coming up. Stay tuned.

    West Edmonton Mall
These are a few pictures I took of a small area of the mall last night when I was there. They didn't turn out that well so I had to inhance them to brighten them up. Next time I go I should take pictures of most of the mall to give people a perspective of what it has and how large it is. The Water Park alone looks like a covered football stadium from the outside and its only one of many large attractions.

This is a great CJ, shame to see that someone stole one of your screenshots and used it for their own.
Great work on Edmonton, can't wait to see more.

I work for the US Army. I go places, visit mean people, and kill them.

Winston Churchill is generall credited for saying something to the effect of: "People sleep soundly in their beds because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf". That about sums up my life, besides the "rough men" part.

This is a picture of where I do all my work on Edmonton. Hours spent on measuring maps and referencing pictures late at night while sneaking into Simtropolis.

    Dec 21st Update.
I've layed down alot of complicated and hard to measure roads in the Callingwood (SW) area of Edmonton. Mostly the main roads in the area. This is the SW edge of the city and is mid to high wealth residential. Also almost all of the farms in the far SW corner are finished accuratly.

Maybe I should take a picture of my desk on an average day when there bags of chips hanging off of it. CD's everywhere and a bunch of other crap making it hard to see it has a surface lol.
And for whitemud drive its a freeway so on the regional map it comes up red. Thats the normal SC transportation view.
