Ez a file a plugin mappában van.

A HK épületekhez kell ez a file.

Ha megvan, akkor az MSN-en elküldhetné.

 Úgy néz ki, mint egy  mappában, a tömörített egy DAT fájlt.

HONG KONG, can you handle this? I didn't know that you speak Hungarian, and solving this issue in German could be difficult. If you could tell him that it's considered impolite to flood various threads with one request, that would be sweet as well. Once this issue is solved, I'll delete those posts that interrupted somewhere, but for the time being I'll leave everything as it is until we've helped him.

As for the file iself, that could be anything... it was made with wounagaine's SC4 DAT Packer and could contain just about anything. I have no idea where this is from.

    srry I don't speak Hungarian, but it looks like the file is my All Pencil Towers Dat, I released a couple months ago.

    Its trunight, but I hate the night windows. Been mulling over this for a while. I need some texture help - if anybody has some good office windows that can work with these buildings I will be very happy to credit you.

    There seems to be nothing wrong with the windows. The buildings are very beautiful at night just as they are.

    Hey Bixel, long time member here. Just got to say that I love the work that you've done on your BATs!

    That being said, I don't mean this as criticism, but I've noted a few issues you have in your releases. You may have noted in your Pencil Tower Pak that some of the towers were even growing in low-density zones (I had issues with the "Kwan Tak Hing" residential tower in particular).

    I just thought you might like to know what the issues was - you didn't have any Growth Stage string anywhere in the description files. Also, I thought it was weird that you didn't even have a .LOT file for that tower... instead I guess you have 2 description files with the data in them. Hmm...

    The other issues with that particular BAT is that there is a "dummy tower" that doesn't seem to do anything (???) but is placed in the middle of the lot. Anywhoo, I added a Growth Stage = 6 in the description file and it solved the problem.

    The only other problem I've had with your older releases is they grow on all Building Sets. It would be great if they only grew on the Euro sets, and I think you have been doing that lately. Anywhoo... I'm kind of back after a long hiatus. 4.gif

    Are you making your buildings compatible with the CAM? Just curious. I'm trying to figure out how all these new MODs work now...

    Anyways, just like to say that you've done a bang-up job with all your BATs! Now I just have to work on a new Chinese region.

    zilfondel: ah. Thanks man. The dummy is there for buildings that are larger than their LOT, the tower was too big so I made it a prop. But now I know how to fix models so they fit properly. I never new it was missing the growth stage property. Thanks for that, I will update it.

    Hey, your buildings look really realistic and good, keep it up! (:

    Anyway, I would like to pose a query regarding the buildings in actual game.

    Are the buildings plopabble or do you have to wait for it to start building by itself in SC4, like the other buildings?

    OK, all of Island Harbourview has been exported! Unfortunately it is not in TRUNIGHT version yet, I want to test the lot mod and the growth stats for it 1st before thinking of going back into 3ds max and messing with trunight. So that is some good news.

    Still no work on the making the nightwindows on the Taikoo Place looking better, plus I cant seem to grow the Devon House, dunno why. So more testing....

    Got a couple towers of the Whampoa Gardens rendered...but everything is slowing down a bit.

    I am still looking for a job! Portland has horrible economy right now. so I've been restless. Mostly what I've been working on is C# and C+ programming, working with Source SDK (Counterstrike) so I haven't done any 3D art for a while. Kinda put all the 3D art stuff on the backburner.. but as CitiesXL gets closer to release expect some new releases from me then.

    My main goal is to pass onto CitiesXL, creative wise it will be a big step up. I plan on getting some of my famous HK buildings in the game and it will be real hard work, expect the quality to be amazing cause I am going to give it my all > But I will lose the Speed BATter status as making content for CitiesXL is more complicated process. Anyway...that is my update. Cheers! 9.gif

    I dunno, I could imagine that models for CitiesXL need to be far lower in polygon count because they would slow the game down too much otherwise.

    The Island Harbourview is now completely growable after some Lot tweaking. Because of its unique profile most of the Building over hangs the actual Lot - this is to provide room for a special avenue peice that plops down along the diagonal length of the building.

    Island Harbourview grows pretty easy at a population of 7,600 R$$. I might try increasing it by 1,000 but I'm not sure

    Zoning takes some planning ahead, the area must be considered carefully because of its overlapping of the lot. Special ploppable custom lots might be created to fill in some of the gap. A diagonal avenue peice is planned for the odd angle part and a huge commerical center (Olympian City HK) will be ploppable to fill in that huge odd angled space. Possible extra MTR bus and transit capabilites included.

    I was checking out kelistmac's CJ of Hong Kong and he did a wonderful recreation of Kennedy Town, but it was missing a couple buildings so I decided to work on one today.

    This is a preview of Cayman Rise, one of the more stranger roof designs, as far as I can tell its pretty accurate from the few photo references I got

    Hi, Ive been trying for ...well...a long time to get your lots to grow in my city. So far, i have managed to get exactly 1, the Arch,(which is wonderful), Funny thing is I wasnt even trying to zone for it, iow, it was a complete accident. That, is as far as  I have been able to get with ANY of your res. lots. Why are they so problematic to grow? Ive been trying for years for example to get Liberte and tung chung to grow, all it does is sit there and waste space, doing exactly nothing. Ive tried the  8x9 etc the lot sizes specifed, no matter what I try, nothing. And i get the impression im not the only one that finds your lots more or less wont grow on there own. Ndex res growables pop all over the place. So does the HK Tower Pack 31 and Garden estate towers, those things grow like weeds. Any other res growable I run, works. Maybe some form of indepth Faq or a better explanation as to why your excellent looking lots are a pita to grow?(for us not so skillful at growing HK res?).
