droopie: I've seen you're post in the Show us your Airports thread and see that you seem to be substituting 767s for 777s.  Anyways, the -300 and -300ER production may be faster than I thought, opting for a release sometime around mid-late September.  And btw, the 777 will be using the same gate that Ace's 747 uses.

Xiziz: I think he photoshops them himself--I don't know how he does it!

thorin: Alitalia does operate the -200ER, which will be available as another 777 type sometime in the future.  However, if you really want it--

canuck3360: Frogface is right--that EVA is actually a Taiwanese airline.  I don't think we will be making any virtual airline textures anytime.

skyliner22: The Qantas looks nice, but looks to be somewhat based on a real-life picture of a Qantas 767.  And--the Jet Airways is by supla007, as mentioned in an earlier post.  And--please try to refrain from double posting.

Sorry, it was a page flip bug. Ill send the textures perhaps tomorrow and i figured out how to texture correctly so i can do PAL. And im also thinkin perhaps Turkish Airlines to bring some more East Europe/ Central Asian liveries!

WOW! These 777's look amazing! The Virgin Blue Livery is my favourite. I was wondering whether they are they going to be automata or will they have actual lots and gates like Voltaire's 747's?

Also when Virgin's 777's start operating they will be under the brand name "V Australia" because Singapore Airlines, through their stake in Virgin Atlantic doesn't allow the "Virgin" name to be used on international routes, That is why Virgin Blue's International flights operate under "Pacific Blue" (to and from New Zealand) and "Polynesian Blue" (Throughout the Pacific Islands)

if someone would be interested... in sharing the texture template I would love the chance to help work on requested airline liverys...  I am sure that a few (most) CJ'ers would love paints done... as well as realworld...  I am pretty handy with photoshop... and have some exsperince doing repaints for FS

As for the brightness fixes, if it doesn't interfere with what Voltaire stated on BAT settings:

For correct Material brightness in BAT renders, and to mitigate black jaggies, set your Viewport Background to [147,156,174] and Ambient Light to [110,110,110].

Then if you can send me a PM, that would be great.

cameron1991: Thanks for the comment--these will be similar to Ace's aircraft in that they are BAT models with actual lots and gates.  And thanks for the info on V Australia, that will be helpful.  As for any of the Virgin airlines, so far only V Australia will be operating the -300ER type.

Hmm, skyliner, there appears to be a few mistakes on the Qantas - the edge between the name 'Qantas' and then nose is clearly visible with different shades of white, and part of Qantas is cropped off. Then at the tail the red doesn't align itself properly around the fuselage.

I have to agree that the work spent on the liveries and airport BATs is phenomenal!!! I have decided to attempt some new skins for some airlines that I'd like to see in-game like Luxair and the national airlines for my CJ/MD. We'll see how it goes. This thread has been helpful with ideas and techniques, too.

what about an American Airlines 777? American flies MD-80s (which have been created for SC4), 737s, 757s, 767s (also already created for SC4), 777s, A310s, and A340s. as for the 737s in the works, don't forget about Southwest Airlines...they only 737s and are one of (if not the largest) user of that plane in the world.

I dont really plan to make US airline textures as US airlines have horrible service as compared to other international carriers but i can do some, perhaps Delta. I dont know how to get the American silvery shine to it.

Ok...so this is the very first time since becoming a member here almost 4 years ago that I've tried anything other than the LE. This thread and the whole airport concepts has become very intriguing to me. So, as I mentioned above, I thought I'd try my hand at re-texturing an aeroplane.

So, below are two in-game shots of an Iberia plane that I re-textured and provided a concept colour. The blue should be toned down to match the rather blah in-game colours. So, I'll do that next. But, remember, this is the very first try...I went straight from editing the image directly to in-game and thought I'd share it as it stands so far. Too, there is something weird going on with the engines. You can see it in the pic below.

EDIT: I figured out what the issue is with the dark line on top of the engines and the black on the wing edges. It was my photoediting.

Next, is the fact that I cannot figure out why the graphic and writing is backward. Should I reverse the image for one of the fsh files?

Great looking planes! One question: was it your intention to release the planes as a part of a jetway lot (as ACE's 747s) or as plane models?

(I vote for plane models as they are flexible to place on tarmac, ramps etc.)

I don't know if Austrian Airlines operates -300 models, but they have a nice coloring on their planes. So it's my request.

bokrif: Hi! 767 on jetways have not been released by anyone AFAIK. You may have seen some lots made by a few people (myself included) - from 767 plane models released by Kumba. I replicated the lots as Landmarks and used the planes as props. So I don't think the lots are publicly available anywhere.
