Well, sorry about the absence--I've been busy packing and leave in two days.  777 operations will resume in December while I apply some more textures and make some final adjustments.  The release date should be sometime next spring.  Meanwhile, the SimSports bureau has asked me to make a few exclusive BATs to them and with two days to make a simple countdown timer--I'm working!

Well as I told Pilotdaryl I started working on a Boeing 757 mind you my BATing skills are somewhat well not so great I resent to you the status so far

Now all that is left is the Texturing and maybe The Landing gear but every attempt at those so far have been well let's say Tragic

I've been on vacation for a month... so as a result, I haven't been able to reply to you all.  I still have to unpack, and I also have a new upcoming minor release focusing on already available props rather than custom-made ones.

canuck3360: Well I received your PM about that otherwise looks good for a first try.  Could use a few improvement though. I could help you if I wasn't so busy.

skyliner22: Sounds good to me.  I'll try freeing up some time slots as well so I can get this released by next spring or summer.  Aircraft projects really do take that long!  Ace's took 8 months.

bbfan02: Thanks.  You might wanna check out the ACE 747/CRJ and terminal pack on the STEX.  These should be out next spring or summer.

So as I said earlier, I have an upcoming release.  This will be a hangar pack, using the Euk BAT Pack and Palpatine001's shed.  But now that I think of it, I'll probably also include some lots on airport equipment using Ace's props.  More development info to come.

Is there a place where I can find a tutorial on how to make textures for some plane 3D Models that I downloaded from STEX? I want to create some planes for my CJ.

cameron1991: Thanks, and along with the hangars will be some lots with airport equipment.  Expect that as a Christmas release

The Big Z: Well, there really isn't... and it's very hard... but you might want to check a few custom content sites and forums for Microsoft Flight Simulator including FSDome and AVSIM.  They will probably have some sort of tutorial on texturing planes.  Even I'm not really able to texture planes myself... good luck.

This does however, require you to texture the aircraft yourself, although textures are already provided.

As for the 777 project, it's been sort of... halted... due to a wing texture problem I have with a JAL plane.  I also await two Boeing 777 aircraft to be delivered to our main plant (from bourneID, of course) including a request for a CJ and an Alaska Airlines special livery.  I had PMed him several days ago and still, no reply.  Reports indicate that RLS has caught up with him and he may not reply for awhile.

I actually tried to make my own skins, and was able to make them into .fsh files, but I think I might have gotten a bad copy of FiSHMan Beta, because it doesn't load .fsh files, but I can create them. I cannot get the skins to show up on my plane, as of yet.

Sorry for the big delay between updates... I've really been getting around to playing SimCity 4 for now to prepare a new CJ that will come out at the end of this month.  As such, time for the 777 project is getting a bit short.  But I'm still alive.   Here are a few high-quality pictures of the Singapore Airlines 777 for now.  There will be five variants of this livery; only one is shown here:

Jim1994, have you read the read-mes included with the RMIP and ACE and SWAP packs?  They give you some information about runway placement.  Otherwise, look for exodus's tutorial on making runways at the Post your Tutorials thread (link).  I had also been writing an airport tutorial... which appears to have been deleted from my private topics forum... I'll have to start again sometime.

anyway, just asking if anybody would like to make an airplane with my decals cause i'm planning to create and Raffore International Airlines plane for my upcoming cj, raffore islands. hope someone could make it for me. i don't know how to design a plane using BAT, letting alone create one. i would really appreciate it if anyone could make it for me. here are the decals:

In my design, the livery colour for the plane will be gold colour (the one shown above). i never include the windows for the side of the plane decal cause i don't know what type of plane you are going to use (if you're willing to make one for me). prefer airbus A380 plane being use but any type of plane also can, commercial planes only (boeing planes also can). if anyone is willing to help me, you have my thanks. cheers!

Just in time, Aranho, as an updated A380 pack by tabinohito has just been released. (link)  You can request an RIA A380 livery from him at SimCity 4 Devotion (as tabi).  I think he might be able to make it.  The 777 is still in production, and I think making you a livery should be a quick job.

Also, I've just found myself another job involving aircraft BATs; the project is somewhat similar to tabinohito's and Kumba's projects...

The Boeing 777 will be split into two (or three) packs; the first one will contain most of the real-life airlines made by supla007.  I've already gave Ace a PM about the future of this project; he has pointed me to Voltaire, who has so far given me no reply.  In the meantime while I wait for a reply, I've been up to some on-request liveries (which will be sent privately as a beta version without nightlights); here's my first (and only, so far ) livery, Raffore International Airlines requested by Aranho:

Among other upcoming requested liveries is a Star Alliance version of RIA and two Mackinac Airways liveries.

Looking good pilotdaryl! Any chance we'll get a list of which real life airlines will be released in Pack 1? Im hoping to see Aeroflot, Eva Air, Cathay, Continental, Thai, Air Canada, PIA and Air Tahiti Nui. These 777 will look great at my airports!

Also, I know they don't fly them in real life (they opted to go for the A350), but would it be possible to request a Hawaiian Airlines 777?
