suplado!-Hmm... a comment from one of ST's greats! I'm quite flattered, to say the least.

sEAhAwk fAn121-Thanks. For posterity, the buildings in Saint Laurent preceded the Parisian building by about fourty years. 9.gif Random fact.

frogface-Thanks, the avenue is quite important after all! And I do like the new look myself, looks all professional.

Yoman3-I think it's the best too. 9.gif. Your traffic gens have been quite helpful, make the city look alive.

TheSixCents-Thank you, it takes lots of practice to get this!

Glenni-Thanks! Your diagonal BAT's have been quite useful, actually. 4.gif

ilikehotdogsalot-WOAH WOAH WOAH! Hotdogs complimenting MY mosaics!?! This is unprecedented! Thanks mate, appriciate your comment!

SIMplMn9-Thanks, and next time I see you, I will update on the story.

Shingure-Thanks, I like that you find it clean cut. It's probably related to the contrast effect.

Schulmanator-Thanks, another well known CJer flattering me!

Amerikaner-Thanks, I'll try to update on the gardens one day hopefully.

sebby07-Thanks, hopefully we'll see more of the city soon too.

CarmineHilton- Thanks. I like the overall effect as well.

sixers33-Thank you. You can never go wrong with green. 9.gif

GingerBlokey-Err... mind if I don't hit you with the stick, Greg? Thanks.

bokrif-Thanks. Well, the avenue is supposed to be like the Champs Elyeeises (sic), so that's why it's so wide.

dfnva-Triuphant for parades, my friend! Indeed, a grand axial road was the main idea, thus the similarity.

    THE_Chris-Thanks. 9.gif

pipishere-Thanks pip! Hope to see more of Cytheria soon.

saltandsauce-Thanks, and you're right, the palace grounds are massive.

fukuda-They are void, thanks for pointing that out, I'll make a note of making some people lots. 4.gif

Patricius Maximus-Thank you, and watch out for those multiple posts!

    (I will variate these soon)

The paper, you mught notice, is slightly different. And if that might hold you for the morning, I present you.....

    satmapcopymz3.jpg

If you notice, the shape of the islands is different. I'm changing that too. 3.gif I'm wondering how to make that into a grayscale....

If time allows, I'll have a more detailed update on the Duchess's visit tommorow.

Excellent Map there, wish I had photoshop skillz like that. Newspaper is great also, plane, not too distracting, yet informative.

Wow, its been a while since I've visited, and I can't belive the great update I missed.

I love how the focal point of the whole mosaic is clearly defined and the whole thing flows from bottom to top.

Also, brilliant work on the newspapers

I'm literally sitting here, staring at your map 3.gif It's incredible, the little dots of the buildings and cities look just like how they do when you're high above, the different colors of the terrain and all the small features like rivers and streams, It looks so natural and realistic, you can pass it off as the real thing to be honest. Just insane!

Yoman3- Yeah, but you have BAT skills! Thanks.

sixers33-Thanks. I'm glad you like the paper.

Callbat-Thanks, I'm quite flattered by your opinion on the mosaic, never really thought of it that way!

CarmineHilton-Hmm... ought to see about that. 3.gif

Glenni-Thanks. Glad you like the map.

toki.s-Thanks, that map took a while to do, so you better like it!

sEAhAwk fAn121-Thanks, and I see I'm one of your favourite CJs! 3.gif

6underground-Your Valicia map was my inspiration, you know? 9.gif

slann-Grinny as usual I see! Thanks for posting, hope to see your reply soon!

ilikehotdogsalot-I kept on doing that too. There's a reason it's so realistic, but I'm not telling you. Otherwise everyone else would start doing it and I'd have to think of something else that would be impressive!

    *tape goes backwards*

"Ugh! What? I thought this remote controlle- oh. Wrong remote."

    *presses rewind on other remote*

    *TIME goes backwards*

    "Ahh. There we go."

Helicopter Reporter, Georges Tourigny: And the Duchess's motorcade is about to go around the Bourse [du Commerce]. This route was carefully planned to allow the motorcade to pass many of the significant landmarks and districts in St. Laurent, as you have seen the motorcade just went down the Avenue de la Opera, the most prestigous shopping district in the city.

Anchor, Peter Grey: Unsurprising as other representatives of Dominea are travelling with the Duchess. So prehaps this route was designed to prehaps encourage investment?

Georges Tourigny: Right. Prehaps a bit likely if they're travelling through the central business district.

    Peter Grey: *chuckles*

    tnnnewsarrivaloneonewayet5.jpg

Georges Tourigny: And now the motorcade is travelling down the Avenue de Corvinus, towards the Royal Avenue. They're making the turn now...

Peter Grey: Sorry Georges, we're switching to a ground camera. So what kinds of people are lining the Avenue?

    tnnnewsarrivalonealphacti5.jpg

Georges Tourigny: Right. Well, most of the people appear to be well-wishers, as they're waving Dominean and national flags. But wait... a few seem to be holding anti-SCJU posters. "PROTECT OUR INDEPENDENCE", "THE SCJU IS AN ORGANISATION, NOT A NATION". But most seem to be waving flags, and are welcoming the motorcade.

    Peter Grey: Yes.

Georges Tourigny:The motorcade is entering the palace court. There is an offical guard to welcome the Duchess.

    tnnnewsarrivalonecopyfd1.jpg

Georges Tourigny: The car has halted in front of the grand entrance

    *Guard Commander: Attention! Guards- Salute!*

    *band strikes up march*

Georges Tourigny: Someone is leaving the car. It is...

Well, I am not sure that any words are fine, but you seem to have actually put immense effort on this project.

Ten pages, which I unfortunately do not have the time to sift through, seems full of amazing pics. Anyway, keep it up my friend, glad to have dropped by in here! Well done again!

Well, I suppose I could drop by, of course! 2.gif  That's some nice photo editing, though the TV screen looks like it could use some help.  3.gif  Unless that's part of the storyline...45.gif  This is my first visit, so forgive me.  4/13 well-made newspaper, and that map... wow!  That's all I have to say.  Very realistic-looking, I love it.  3/21/08: beautiful mosaic. 9.gif  Fabulous work, Simfan.
