How many times did you get Drunk out there in Seattle?

Lol, that's the most dumb question I could ask, but no one asked it before, so It looks like I've won "The most dumb Question Contest"

Not so dumb.  The total alcohol consumption is the one beer that Ryan had during the podcast rehearsal.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. Well Dirk did bring us a photo of the old simtropolis server.  It's been retired for a while now, but the admin command console came in quite handy while GolfBunny was here!

So THAT is the Simtropolis server!

Why do i have this sinking feeling that the server upgrade was nothing more than extra peanut butter for the toast.

But I can see that the appearance is quite radically changed. The main part of the upgrade must have laid in the inside.

Now, Joesocwork, as for you, I'd say a standard jar of Peanut Butter in my country cost about GBP 0.80. I do love Peanut butter.

Look no farther, DT - for here is the SimTropolian's Guide to Rebooting A Toaster!

Step 1:  Unplug the toaster from the wall.

Step 2:  Smack the side panels a few times.

Step 3:  Plug the toaster back into the wall.

Step 4:  Put in a piece of bread ( or a bagel, etc. ) and toast!

Step 5:  Enjoy!

( If, after Step 3, the toaster is still not working, unplug it, dump it in the nearest garbage can, and get a new one!

VT - This might add to your " laugh to death " count.  Be forewarned!

If an icebreaker and a toaster can do all that, I just can't imagine what other kitchen appliances in that home can do. Oh no! Not to mention the microwave!

It was all rather last-minute-ish.  Dirk decided that he was going to Visit Ryan & Samantha and Samantha mentioned it to me and since I'm retired I didn't have to get time off work and Ralph didn't need plane tickets because he could just drive down from Vancouver.  Had we planned it a bit better, MrC and Joe might have been able to make it but, as it was, it was too late for them to avoid having RL get in the way.

So ST would have been largely in the hands of us mods?

Edit for SkiGeek's edit:  I thought that face looked familiar.18.gif (kudos to the person who figures out the actual meaning)3.gif

We all know that Spore is going to be a mix of all of Will Wright's ideas and previous games.  And there are rumors that ST will somehow support Spore.

Well, I have a friend in the Seattle area and he was kind enough to spy on the secret admin meetings for me.  Not only are they planning the future, they even picked out the next generation of server:

So, what, is that all they serve in the admin's boardroom?  Fruit Smoothies, and peanut butter sandwiches?

EDIT:  And NOT to make any shameless self promotions, but, Ski and I and Wilson JUST might be related 3.gif
