Hi, hijodecordoba! 1.gif

Press PRINT SCREEN on your keyboard to capture an exact image of what you see on your screen and paste it on MS Paint or Photoshop or any kind of drawing program. Crop sections of captured images to make a complete region shot.

Hope that'll help! 2.gif

This is the region i'm currently developing, i'm doing the transit first so there's no development yet but maybe by the next decade with the rate i'm going, 3.gif. Also, the ring highway is just a marker for the urban boundary and i'm gonna take it out.

Wow, amazing regions! Well, here's mine: Kieher. It's a kind of homage to it as I'm going to start a new one.

I've restarted this region from Terraformer up twice, and the city itself three times on this map, but I finally gathered a folder of BAT's that suits what I'm trying to do (or more likely my plugins folder has gotten so large I don't want to add anything else).  As you can see, I've changed my water texture and terrain a few times along the way.

isollapost1mh5.jpg

It's intended to be an island nation that blends Mediterranean and Japanese architecture, social structure, and city style, plus a little hardcore coastal terraforming ala Dubai.  Going from west to east, I've got to clean up the nature preserve and agricultural areas, then blend from that to an overdeveloped, dense mid-rise city like Okinawa or Tokyo on the eastern end.  After starting from the east, I realized I had messed up by cramming five million into an area of the island no larger than 6x15km.  Went totally against what would be sustainable in such an area and the building style I'm shooting for.17.gif

A close-up of what is semi-finished.  I was fascinated by the pattern of farms around Tokyo on Google Earth.  The reason for the blockiness will be explained if I ever decide to make a cj, but for right now it's just an experiment to see if I can get a lot of conflicting concepts that sounded interesting to me to work together.

A bonus point to anyone who can guess what real island inspired the terraforming.

After not touching SC4 for a year or so, I decided to get back into it. This is my work on San Francisco 3 1/2 months in. Just the basic SC4 tools, no other plugins other than NAM. Hope you like it.

I like what you're doing with the Maxis San Francisco map.  I hate to admit that I've never had the patience with the painful config file to not quit upon hitting the bottom right corner.

He was from Corsica, but exiled to Elba after he was thrown out of France the first time.  He was actually given free reign as emperor of the place, and that was kind of my inspiration for using Elba as a basis for a fictional island nation.  I wondered what sort of place he could have turned it into if he had stuck around there.
