Can someone tell me who made this? And if they finished it?

I remember coming across this a while back but I forgot where I saw it

166x7d2.jpg

This is actually my creation, I don't think I'll be finishing it considering my Sim City 4 copy doesn't work anymore. But it was fun working on it lol. Lucky7's NYC creation is much better so go check his out.

@SimcityFuturist Amazing! How did you do that???

@10000000000000 Hey, that region looks familiar! And wow, yours is definitely more extensive than mine...my region is maybe 1/4 or a 1/5 of that region. Cool to see what the region looks to the south, west, and north of what I have.

This is the AMO (Metropolitan Area of Ostend, for its acronym in Spanish).

It consists of the capital city of the province, the city of Ostend, and 13 other urban areas, a total of 14 cities conurbation. In that CJ cansee the data for 2011, detailing the local population, but the numbers are updated and an estimate says that currently about 1,254,500 inhabitants would live

► Here you can see a satellite view. Can see how the skyscraper areais concentrated evenly onto the center of the metropolitan area, and partly on the island San Martin. Meanwhile, low houses to all directions.

► In the next view, you can see the transport system. You can see the Ring Expressway, an expressway to avoid traffic across the city and reach their destinations faster. But you can see that there are three highways leading into the capital city, to expedite the passage offloods.

In the center will International Airport "Jerónimo Luis de Cabrera," arich system of underground railways to all the senses. Being themost important urban area in the region, and most importantly thewest, is well connected with the rest of the nation.

► In closing I leave here as is administratively divided the AMO.

Could you please tell me how you determined the correct placement of the road network, specifically the placement of the Ed Koch Queensborough Bridge?

I've been working on a technique of overlaying a semi-transparent image from google maps* with the .jpg from the New York City map by beskhu3epum but it's proving to be extremely time consuming to get it's accuracy to a satisfactory level.

*If anyone's interested, I'd be happy to write a tutorial on how to capture a large, custom dimension image from google maps without the use of the printscreen button (I captureed one of Manhattan the other day that measured 10,000 by 10,000 pixels).

Hi,

I wanted to make a proposal that might be stupid, but it can be very useful.

SHARE your regions via Dropbox or Google Drive, by simply loading the files that make with the plugins.

The user can decide whether to make its editable region (thus following this guide) or he can let the user can simply copy and use them for them selves!

I am willing to organize and manage everything. Including creating a nice guide to share their own regions.

(Sorry my bad english)

This is my first hand formed region in years and first with terraformer. it is still on the drawing board and is being slowly converted to the real thing finally. After months of planning I present to you the region of Eudoria!

img0090s.jpg

eudoriacbdharbors.jpg

This region is configured for 324 large city tiles at 18X18. 2 Major river will converge here an empty out into the ocean. There will also be a large mountain range in the NW with massive snow covered peaks. In the middle of that mountain range will nest a large resevior with a high capacity hydroelectric dam supplying most of the regions energy demands and providing fresh water for the entire region. The CBD in the south central part (the large island) will have plentiful coves for pleasure boats and the east side will be industrial harbors. More updates will soon come stay tuned :)

I am a truck driver and land surveyor by trade. Trust me, I'll be able to use all of it :)

The plan is to develop it like my home city, Houston. Large centralized urban districts and sprawling rural areas. The out skirts will be more farm and recreational land with small urban developments spreading out from the main city. The goal in creating such a large region is to create just that. Also it will be for my upcoming MD and I plan to run that for atleast a year. I play sc4 all the time aside from the the random 2 hours on an MMO on the weekend or random night of console gaming with my gf so I expect this project to go fast.
