UPDATE

I've been working on the large concourse, and I got a lot done. I't's about 70 % finished; still to be done is the interior and tweaking the textures and other details.

The hole in the roof is going will be an observation-deck, restaurant or just a skylight.

here's the pic:

This piece has a 'panoramic' side and a 'normal' side. Other pieces might have 2 panoramic /normal sides, possibly even with extra's like airport-(train)shuttles and stations.

bearmans - That wouldn't be possible: the 707 is stationary, but the 767 pivots randomly and wouldn't look good sideways or backwards with the jetway

KingSimCity, feliwi - I've already received quite some aircraft BATting requests, so it would be difficult to BAT em all. Next is the A320 and 737. After that....maybe.....

Final assembly of the jetways and aircraft is in progress. Liveries are being tweaked to fit the newly revised 747 models. Like this one, a British Airways 747-100:

The wings, upper deck, elevators, and tail have all been redone since the last preview shot. The jetway is one of three that will be offered in this pack. Excuse the jaggies please; this is a viewport screenie not a render.

EDIT - I managed to mis that new concourse. It looks great. A little low (should be fine). Also I think the double sided one would be very cool. Don't forget to add attachment points for the jetways!

And you can use as many 747s at one time as you want in response to Thorin

Thorin - the 747 is a prop; In other words, it does NOT replace the 707 or whatever. This means you can use all of the included ;liveries, in addition to you maxis plane fleet.

Another advantage is the possibilities for prop-families, which will make the lot change over time with different liveries.

is it possible to make props appear and disappear? so that the come and go, in different liveries? or do you place one and then you constantly have the same plane standing?

I'm using ACB Airport Base Pack, Add-on pack, RMIP 1 2 3, and SWAP. I've been looking though some airport threads and saw some airport of different terminals. How do I get these different terminals? Are they custom. Also is it possible to have different airlines parked at the gates, instead of the same airline throughout the airport and is there away to build plane 747 as well as other types of aircraft walkways to the concourse. I only see 707 on the stex.

The 747 and second concourse style are going to be part of the next release, and aren't available yet. There are a few reskins/remodels of Maxis planes on the STEX, which give the maxis planes new liveries, or replace them with a completely new plane. The different terminal designs you saw in the airport threads might have been custom and unreleased, or may have been released seperate from any packs.

Presenting the final version of our 747-400, in the newest KLM livery (it says KLM Air France on the nose, though it's not visible in-game). Careful observers will notice many changes to the wing and fuselage. There are 7 airline liveries available for this type, in addition to five 747-100s.

I retextured an Airbus A340-300 Model last night, that i downloaded from Turbosquid.com in my own Livery. If i can learn to model my own planes (I cannot release this one for obvious reasons) i could join the fun with some Fictional CJ airlines.

Ill tonkso: I know about that A340 it originally came in Air France but its for 3DS MAX not GMAX.  So I can't work on it.

Ace: Whoa thats a nice 747 (you got all the types as in -100, -200, etc.), hope you can make gates for my upcoming 777 as well (unfortunately I'm only doing the 777-300ER).

Voltaire: Cool liveries.  For the CRJ-700 did you do Air Canada?  And what about Philippine Airlines for the 747-400?

Impressive stuff! So, is the 747 available in the new ACE pack? wat about A380? lol. I would like to request, don't have to fulfill; Qantas, Japan Airlines or ANA, Cathay Pacific,  Air New Zealand, Korean Airlines, Asiana, China Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Philippine Airlines, and Eva Air. Thanks

THANKS A BUNCH if you consider! It will be very helpful for my soon to be developed SFO, since it is a Major Hub for Asia flights! These are all liveries that are seen at SFO on a day to day basis!

Oh and i'll be sure not to develop SFO until after this new pack comes out! Can't wait!!!!

the 747s look really great, I can't wait for the new airport pack. When do you think ist it ready?

The reason I would need is that I woud want to build a new airport in my city journal Apton. But every airport is boring without 747.

I just got myself the Ace airport pack and its extension (addon) and I am amzed howw it looks ingame. I seem to have a problem though and I couldn't solve it since there's no readme file that comes with these lots.

All my runways look like this below, is this normal? Also I do not seem to have any airplanes showing on the ploppable lots that are supposed to have them, nor any on the walkway lots. 

Am I missing something?
