muck: The trees on the cliff look very natural, and I like the overall waterfront layout, but some of those boats must have been airlifted into the marina.

hawkeye9: I really like how the rocks look under the water.  The lighthouse beam is nice, but most of the beams I've seen are tighter than that.

terring: I generally like the composition, but I might suggest a water mod (since temperate deciduous forest doesn't work well with Carribbean blue water) and more variety in the trees.

And now, muck, your wish is my command: a wider downtown shot.

Central Arcadia at night, from the west.

After some agonizing about it, I finally got rid of the Key Tower.  The reason being that at this zoom level or higher, its nightlights look terrible.  The windows are too bright and their random pattern serves to break up the outline of the building, like camoflage.  Plus, it has a rendering error that turns it into a blur of pixels from two different sides at this zoom level (this picture would have been impossible).  I like the building, but it's just not up to NDEX's usual standards.  So I replaced it with the NDEX DRK tower instead.

The Carribbean blue color of my water mod is so beautiful that i cannot change it 20.gif

As about the trees, i try it. I just use too much Maxis trees so i didn't have enough space for more trees 21.gif18.gif

Hawkeye9; 10/10. That's just a great shot!

Stomtroopa; Thanks. They definitely need more space. I imagine some are permanently moored. But the cliff does hide a bit of the harbor.

aaronperry; Thanks. No it's not superimposed... but you know those darn SC4 perspectives.

thepokemaniac; Thanks.

terring; 8/10. Cool! Now that you mention it, some non-Maxis trees would be better, but I still like it.

Redimperator; Awesome! 10/10. Thanks for the request. Oh, and yes, all of Tuscarora's elite travel by boat and helicopter simultaneously. It's the coolest. (Including the fishermen)1.gif

RedImperator: Very nice. All the night lights work well together, and I especially like the field in the back right. Good transition from medium-height buildings to skyscraper. 9/10

terring: Not bad, really like the woods and the buliding, but ultimately together I feel it could have been done a bit better, especially since I can't since the base of the tower, those things just kinda bug me. But still, good stuff. 7.5/10

Hawkeye9: This one is pretty much perfect! What really makes it is the spotlight from the lighthouse. Plus those rocks are really nice, where'd you get them? 9.5/10

ford-prefect: 7/10 not bad at all, needs a few more cars.

terring: 6/10 PEG trees don't go well with Maxis, but overall it looks good.

danielcote: Seriously, what the? This thread isn't for that sort of stuff. 0/10

I had a few questions on my last picture I put up:

aaronperry: That light is photoshoped, the lighthouse was supposed to have a light in-game but it wasn't showing up.

ford-prefect: The Rocks are created by Peg and are part of the PPOND kit available on his site.

Thanks to everyone for the rates!!!

RedImperator: Wow that is one awsome shot!!! Extremely realistic and I like the angle you have on the area!!! Nice work!!! 9/10

ford-prefect: That looks really, really nice!!! I love the mix of buildings aswell as the transportation layout with the one way roads and trams!!! Great job!!! 9/10

terring: This looks like a very nice and peacful area!!! I like the mix of trees however I would try and replace the maxis trees with more realistic ones!!! Great work!!! 8/10

    danielcote: ummm... 0/10

aaronperry: Well you definatly completed your goal of a secruity island!!! It looks really nice but it is somewhat maxis-ish, I would recommend a terrain and water modd!!! Great work!!! 8/10

Ok here is one of my latest shots:

aaronperry: Good custom houses, but does not work for me 6/10

buildsolid interesting canal, while the airplane will bring too much sound pollution 3.gif8/10

aaronperry i like the concept but something is missing 22.gif6/10

Hawkeye9 The rail looks good, and I like the RHW to the left. 8/10

terring Looks odd with the tall towers sticking out of nowhere, and huge patches of grass or asphalt connecting them. 6/10

buildsolid Good skyscrapers and canals, though the apartment area is pretty monotonous and the areas right around the canal look a bit plain. 7.5/10

aaronperry Too much building repetition with the three Walton's Plaza's (or whatever they're called), the waterside cliffs look odd and don't blend in well and the low density area looks too barren. Also, the lighthouse looks ugly terraced and what's with the gap of nothing on the left side of the river between the two sections of development. 5/10

terring: Ive never been a big fan of the space age styled sc4 but for what its supposed to be I guess its well put together!!! 7/10

buildsolid: Wow I love this shot!!! Everything blends together very nicely and I love the detail, especailly the airplane!!! Great choice of buildings, awsome work with that canal and an overall great picture!!! 9/10

aaronperry: Its a nice start but I think you need more custom content to help with the repition, its quite maxisish. I would recomend Waiting a little longer for the low wealth to move out in the uper left and wait for some medium wealth aswell! Other than that it is quite nice, I love the tropical feel of the area and you worked with the shoreline really nicely!!! 8/10

aaronperry: There's something that doesn't fit in, maybe it's the unrealism of the layout 5.5/10

Hawkeye: Wow! That's really good! Looks like another perspective that isn't in SC4. That pic could be part of a postcard! Good job! 10/10
