Cruisin_King: Not bad, I can suggest to add some parks to beautify it 7/10.

Shadow_prophet: Wow, so much work here! More "Futurama Tubes" ahoy! (LOL, nice griffen_star 18.gif)

#1: I like the crater and the high-rises are very sci-fi-ctious! 8/10.

#2: That's okay. Good work with the tubes, looks a realistic highway! A bit repetitive though. 7.5/10.

#3: Excellent! Maybe I'm nightlite-addicted, but everything blends very well. Good shot! 9.5/10! 44.gif

#4: It looks like a military base for me, the station make the whole thing interesting nonetheless. 8/10.

#5: That's my favorite! There's much more variety. The buildings are cleverly plopped, bravo! 10/10! 10.gif

#6: Whoa! So many craters, and so many futuristic BATs. Building on Mars had to be very time-consuming! The background it's just perfect! 9/10!

Excellent works so far, Shadow_prophet! I can't wait to see the spaceport and see more "SimEarth" shots 2.gif!

I have finally something to show! Got some hard time with my connection, but I uploaded it successfully. This is a shot of my project I'm trying to render in 3ds max. You can expect some "twisted" transportations for the sake of anti-grid; forgive me for that...

Alright, here it is, my first upload!

westbeachstcz7.jpg

If you want, please gimme some suggestions for improving it. 2.gif Thank you.

True but read my post, I' said this would be the last time i would post a set of multiple images just to show my progress since i can't possibly do much with simmars anymore , not to mention I have completely finished it off with what I can do for nowand thus i will revert back to posting one image at a time. So i do hope those in charge would give me pardon just this one. You can rate the image each one by one as how gabry85 did or just round it all up.

Can't exactly have a journal only one page long only now can I 4.gif

And it would be a waste to just create another thread for this kind of thing seeing that this mod is still in it's beta phase and not a lot of people have it (of course this i just a pre-assumption) lol.

Anyways thanks for the concern about it and thanks for the comment. 9.gif

And gabry85 your pic 9/10 but I would highly suggest you do something to cover up the beaches. Thats the only thing that I find out of place. Maybe with rocks?? Or tress??

Though it's a perfect evening shot.

Hiigarar, you think that is horrible? :S It looks great. Just take away the yellow pause line and the gaming options and you'll have a fantastic image on your hands!

8.7/10

Thanks guys! I'm happy you liked it and I appreciate your comments!

I'll consider to add some rocks (but not too many! 9.gif) as Shadow_prophet suggested. I'm planning for more shots of my city project. Just hope that the game won't crash and delete my works... 21.gif

Hiigarar: Why should it be horrible? Your work is good and these buildings are plopped very well! The only problem is for the props. Maybe your game settings are low or you've missed some dependencies. 8/10.

EDIT: mpol, LOL, posted at the same time and with the same idea! 18.gif

@ Hilgarar: 9/10. As mentioned before, the pause line and the in-game tools bring it down a notch. here's my contribution...

Dsrwhat316, Don't like repeating the same the words but not much going on this image. It is ok but not exciting. 7.7/10

Shadow Prophet:  I like those tubes!  really adds another dimesion to it.  I'm a big fan of the second pic.  Even while the roads are griddy(which I assume is a present limitation of the SimMars beta), the tube layout opens it up and gives a real sense of flow.  Also, the repetition here seems to work, looks like something built hurriedly and methodically by settlers just trying to get something built for survival.  9/10

Gabry:  Wow, as promised, and a fine start.  I love the lights on the buildings in particular.  The open, green filled layout really accentuates the tropical, touristy feel.  The only thing that really hurts it(well a better water mod would make it stand out a little more perhaps, but not a big deal) is the  jagged edges of the beach.  still:  9.3/10

Hiigarar:  have confidence hiigarar, the layout is really good.  As has been said before, it's best to minimize the menu and remove the pause bar(I always take pictures at the slowest play mode, but there's a mod on the stex now that removes the pause frame when paused as well), and of course(not applicable here, just a reminder) with the grid turned off for the most professional appearance.  Also (only constructive critisism to help you out 4.gif) notice that theirs no real life on the streets-no cars, no people.  This is common where most of a city is plopped, but there are automata(or car if you will) generating lots that can give some life in these situations.  I know Mikeseth has made a few, and there are some others besides, just look around.  oh yea, got to jabbering and forgot to rate:   8.5/10

Dsrwhat:  Pic 2 is nice, but not really inspiring, but given this is rate one image, I usually only rate one, and I'd like to discuss your first pic.  I really like the terraforming(though Lord help these folks if they live in hurricane prone areas! lol)  Great use of color(those lighted palms are classic) and the construction lends a bit of realism.  The only thing I don't like is the middle island with the mansions.  The green grass contrasts sharply with sand around it to make a bit of a patch work pattern, but that's not major.  8.6/10

Nerd_Guy:  Aaaahhhh! I can't see your pic.  not even the dreaded red 'X', just

And here's my contribution:
quote>
then nothing

The Sanderson:  One thing I always lamented about vanilla SimCity was the lack of options with parks, but in this case you've used them to quite good effect, and while just Maxis stuff gets old over the course of a whole city, the quality of the individual pieces really is good and works well sometimes for making closer up settings, and this is a good example of that.  Collectively:  8.7/10

Glenni:  Always love to see your Bats, and this one is no exception.  They fit in really well with Peg's OWW, did you lot that into it or is it just placed next to it?  At any rate, it show's the model admirably, along with it's color variations, though as a stand alone picture it could have done without the repetition, but the scene is still nice.  8.3/10

AND, here's an old picture of mine, Albriet Stadium in the town of Meridian, with a little perspective changeSmiley.

The_sanderson: 30? Whoa, didn't expected THAT much... lol, thank you! Anyway, who said that Maxis-only isn't eyecandy? Your image is very nice, I like it! And the high-rise on the right is my Maxis favorite too! 9.5/10 all of 'em! 44.gif

Glenni: Nice picture, even for a test! Looks like New England. 8.5/10.

Alien_397: Thanks for rating! If you want to see Nerd_Guy's shot use Mozilla Firefox. Gulp! At a first glance, your picture looked like a Google Earth photo, I swear... and the effect still continues. Strange... 47.gif Anyway, it's stunning, 10/10! 29.gif

El Burro: Wow, quite bleek here, kamarade! The buildings blend very well with the whole gray effect! 9/10.

Crusin_King: Welcome! 39.gifPlease, could you enlarge the image? I can't see it very well. I'll rate you afterwards. Remember that the limit is 800x600.
